Synopsis
Bonnie mène une vie heureuse aux côtés de Ross, son mari, et de sa fille, jusqu'à ce qu'elle reçoive un coup de fil de Joan, la première épouse de Ross. Celle-ci la prévient que sa fille et elle courent un grand danger. D'abord dubitative, Bonnie décide de rendre visite à Joan pour en savoir plus. Elle découvre le corps de la malheureuse, poignardée. Après ce meurtre, les deux enfants de Ross viennent s'installer dans le nouveau foyer de leur père. Bonnie est frappée par l'attitude étrange des deux jeunes gens. Parallèlement, elle est contactée par le capitaine Kessler, qui enquête sur le meurtre de Joan. Il s'intéresse à Nick, le frère de Bonnie récemment sorti de prison.Actors

State Police Captain Healy is attacked but is saved by Jesse, who is able to get off a couple shots at the unknown assailant despite also being wounded. At the hospital, Healy reveals to Jesse that he was spying on his nephew, who may be sleeping with his saxophone instructor. The town council liked him very much because he wrote three times as many parking tickets as the other officers, and manned the speed trap into the town, bringing in substantial revenue for Paradise. Jesse refuses to have the speed trap manned, because he feels it is unethical, and cuts down the tree that blocks the speed limit sign so the speed trap won’t work anymore.

After Trans Regional Airlines is hit by a series of mysterious aircraft crashes, National Transportation Safety Board safety expert Renee Brennan (Jaclyn Smith) calls for the grounding of the airline's aircraft, despite opposition from the CEO of the airline, Richard Pierce (Chad Everett).
