Doraemon the Movie: Nobita's Dinosaur 2006 (映画ドラえもん のび太の恐竜2006, Gekijōban Doraemon: Nobita no Kyōryū Niimarumaruroku), also known as Doraemon: The Movie 2006, is a traditional animation feature film which is a remake of the first, 1980 Doraemon film, Doraemon: Nobita's Dinosaur. The new film was released theatrically in Japan on 4 March 2006. The film got a private screening with English subtitles in Washington, D.C. on 14 November 2008, making it the first time Doraemon made an appearance in the US. This movie gross over 3.28 billion yen. This movie was ranked 6th highest grossing movie in 2006 of Japan. It was the first to feature the new Doraemon cast and implement a new animation style. The new film does not have a theatrical short.
Synopsis
Suneo shows everyone a fossilized claw of a Tyrannosaurus rex and Nobita is angry that he doesn't get a look. Nobita claims that he will be able to find a living dinosaur. Panicking, Nobita researches on dinosaurs and starts digging in a hill. But then, a landlord shouts at him and makes him dig a hole in the ground to dispose of some egg shells. Nobita unearths a rock shaped like an egg. Using the time-wrap, he returns the rock into its former form and plans to hatch the egg. He spends a day and night wrapped tightly in a blanket with it on his futon, despite it being the peak of summer. A "Futabasaurus" comes out, and Nobita decides to name the plesiosaur Piisuke. Suneo and Gian come looking for Nobita but because Piisuke is still too small, Nobita doesn't show them the plesiosaur and instead makes a deal with them. If he cannot show them a real dinosaur, he would have to eat spaghetti through his nose. Meanwhile, Nobita and Piisuke form a strong bond between them with Nobita working very hard to make sure the baby plesiosaur is well looked after, feeding it his own dinner of sashimi and playing with it. He grows very attached to Piisuke.Actors

The movie starts with Gian, Shizuka, Nobita and Suneo discussing going for an adventure in their Summer Vacation. In 2004 Nobita "Noby" Nobi is a fourth grader who constantly gets failing grades in his subjects due to his laziness and is always bullied by his classmates Suneo "Sneech" Honekawa and Takeshi "Big G" Goda. His great-great grandson from the 22nd century (year 2136), Sewashi, who watches him every day, travels to Nobita's timeline while bringing along his robotic cat Doraemon. Sewashi reveals that if Nobita keeps up his act, he will have a disastrous future: he will marry Gian's sister Jaiko, have his private company burned down, and will be left with a great debt. To circumvent this, he orders Doraemon to help Nobita, modifying Doraemon's nose to prevent him from returning to the future unless Nobita gains a better future.

One day, Suneo, Jaian and Shizuka decided to make a movie about space-based hero film Guardians of the Galaxy is magical current blockbuster. The role of beast should be played by Nobita to do the film but he cooperated with Suneo group. While they were shooting the film Gian beat Nobita as he was an space alien and Nobita started crying and ran away to the house to ask help from Doraemon. After that, they two returned back where the Suneo's group were shooting the film and Doraemon took a gadget from his pocket which is a film director called Burger director. And they all become space heroes and in the film they started fighting with space monsters. Meanwhile, an alien from outside the planet came to ask help from the space heroes and they agreed to follow him. On the spacecraft, alien that is Aron, sheriff of Pokkoru planet which is full of rats, were lucky to escape the pursuit of security personnel of Recreation Land Space (space pirates Impersonation). Until arriving in the planet they thought that the party was only scene in the movie. When the arrived in the planet,they were attacked two or three times, then they get know that it is not a scene in the film, this group is real. Then they followed Aron to the shelter of his secrets. And after two days, they panned and come out of the secret place for the battle.

Nobita’s troubled about what to do with his zero test marks once again. A gust of wind scatters his test papers and he falls into a garbage dump trying to gather them together again. The movie's plot involves Nobita, who throws a temper tantrum because he wants a really large RC toy robot in order to upstage the rich kid, Suneo, who has been showing off the new robot that his cousin made. His fit makes Doraemon angry and he uses his Anywhere Door to get anyway from the summer heat cool off at the North Pole. Sometime later, Nobita follows and a discovers a strange bowling ball-like orb which starts blinking with a pulsating light, and summons what looks like a giant robot´s foot. After Nobita uses the foot to sled down, crashing into his room through the Anywhere Door, the bowling ball follows him home through the door and another robot piece falls into his backyard. A frozen Doraemon follows soon after, covered in ice before being thawed out and with a cold. Learning of the robot parts, Doraemon admits to Nobita that he has nothing to do with it as the two use the Opposite World Entrance Oil and the Roll-Up Fishing Hole to enter the World Inside the Mirror, an alternate mirror world without people. There, they built the robot which Nobita christens the name "Zanda Claus" as he believed the sphere summoning the parts is from Santa Claus.
