Add to a movie listDus (Hindi: दस, translation: Ten) is a 2005 Bollywood action spy thriller film based on the Indian Special Investigation Team (SIT) Officers. The film is directed by Anubhav Sinha and produced by Nitin Manmohan. It stars Sanjay Dutt, Sunil Shetty, Abhishek Bachchan, Shilpa Shetty, Zayed Khan and Esha Deol in lead roles. The film is a tribute to celebrated director Mukul S. Anand, who had died while filming the 1997 incomplete film of the same name, and which had also starred Sanjay Dutt in the lead role. The film was commercial and critical success at the Indian Box Office.
The film follows the head of the ATC, played by Dutt, and his team, as they embark on a mission to prevent a deadly terrorist attack orchestrated by an international terrorist and criminal, Jamwaal with only 7 days to do so. The incident was to take place on 10 May, thus explaining the name of the film.
Synopsis
In the opening scene, Siddhant Dheer (Sanjay Dutt), the head of the Anti-Terrorist Cell (a fictitious organisation), narrates how rampant terrorism has become in the world and goes on to tell the story of 7 of the hardest days in his life.Actors

The film opens with Danny (Zayed Khan) boarding an plane. A girl named Ria (Ayesha Takia), enters the flight, talking very loudly and rudely to a somebody on her phone, irrationally arguing as to why people should not travel on aeroplanes. She even mistreats the cabin crew and casually asks Danny to put something in her bag. Seeing an opportunity to talk to her as they are both alone in the business section of the flight, he introduces himself as Dhananjay Jumbevalkar and craftily manages to engage her in a conversation and they decide that over the course of the journey, he will tell her a story of three unique diamonds worth 200 carats each.

Shekhar Subramanium (Khan), a game designer who works for the London-based Barron Industries, has delivered a number of commercial failures; an irate Barron (Tahil) gives him his last chance to develop a successful game. To impress his sceptical son Prateek (Verma), and upon the request of his wife Sonia (Kapoor), Shekhar uses his son's idea that the antagonist should be more powerful than the protagonist. His colleague, computer programmer Jenny (Goswami), uses Shekhar's face as a model for that of the game's protagonist G.One (Technically Good One and in Hindi Jeevan, which means life), while the shape-shifting antagonist Ra.One (Technically Random Access Version One and in Hindi Ravan, a mythical demon) is made faceless. Another colleague, Akashi (Wu), implements the characters' movements. The game, named Ra.One, contains three levels, the final level being the only one in which either character can be killed. Each character possesses a special device – the H.A.R.T (Hertz Amplifying Resonance Transmitter) which gives them their powers. Upon reaching the last level, the characters gain a gun with one bullet; the other character can be killed by this bullet but only if his H.A.R.T is attached.

The movie is about the relationship between India and Pakistan. The governments of India and Pakistan have launched, "Project Milaap", where both the governments will release the POWs from the previous wars. Raghavan (Sunil Shetty), a deranged ex-army man-turned-militant does not want the peaceful operation to turn to reality and makes an attempt on Gen. Amarjeet Bakshi (Kabir Bedi)'s life. While trying to rescue Gen. Bakshi , Brigadier Shekhar Sharma (Naseeruddin Shah) falls prey to a stray bullet. While on deathbed he confesses to his son Major Ram Prasad Sharma (Shahrukh Khan) that his wife and son had left him many years ago due to his infidelity. He tells Ram his last wish: his family be reunited under one roof, and dies. Meanwhile, Gen. Bakshi tells Ram that his teenage daughter Sanjana's life is in danger, and asks him to go undercover to Darjeeling and pose as a student in Sanjana's class in front of her own eyes. As the fate would have it, Ram learns that his younger brother Laxman "Lucky" (Zayed Khan) is studying at the same college. So Maj. Ram starts off on his dual mission: personal and national. While at the college he falls in love the new chemistry teacher but, keeps making a fool of himself when singing. He meets Sanju (Amrita Rao), who has a very hard time impressing Lucky since she has a crush on him. Since one of the aims of the mission is to provide protection to Sanju, he tries getting close to her but she has only one thing on her mind, impressing Lucky. Sanju is constantly being irritated by Ram because of his attempts at friendship and she eventually complains to Lucky about him. Since he is the coolest guy on campus and Ram is the uncle type they don't get along at all. Lucky, being the mischievous guy he is, ends up in a competition of getting to the roof of the school and in a sudden turn of events ends up hanging from the roof. Ram saves him. This causes all barriers to collapse between them and they become best of friends. Automatically, Sanju also gets close to Ram. Soon thereafter, Ms. Sharma (Kirron Kher), Lucky's mother, advertises for a paying guest in their house in order to make ends meet and thus Maj. Ram ends up in their house. Sanju soon starts wearing new kinds of clothes after visiting Ms. Chandini (Sushmita Sen) the chemistry teacher, along with Ram.Soon, when Ram expresses his feelings to Ms. Chandini, she tells him she feels the same way but they can't be together because she was older than him. In addition, Lucky falls in love with Sanju because of her new look. Lucky and, Ms.Sharma find out that Ram is actually Shekar's son and kicks him out of their house when he is about explain. Ram discovers Raghavan has kidnapped Sanjana.Raghavan and Ram have a deadly fight. But, surprisingly Ram wins the fight even though he is wounded by a bullet shot inflicted by Raghavan. Later it shows everybody at college having a party. There it is revealed that it was Ram's graduation party. It shows Lucky and Sanju expressing their feelings to each other.

LOC Kargil opens with a dramatic shot of an Indian soldier's wireless set chirping frantic commands from one of the army bases, calling a patrol to report in, while the radio operator lies dead in the snow. After frantic attempts from battalions to locate their lost patrols, the Indian Army HQ in Jammu and Kashmir decides to deploy more troops. They suffer a rude shock when company and even battalion-sized attacks are beaten back by the largely unknown enemy sitting on top of the steep and treacherous peaks surrounding Kargil, Mushkoh Valley, Drass, Batalik and the Kaksar sectors. After these terrible and surprising reverses, the decision is taken to go ahead with maximum mobilisation and move its best fighting units into the area of operations.

Lallan Singh (Abhishek Bachchan) is a goon, originally from Bihar but settled in Kolkata, West Bengal because his brother Gopal Singh (Sonu Sood) has left him alone and he had no option of earning back home. Arjun gets lift from Michael to catch up with Mira, who is going that way. Suddenly, Michael is hit by a bullet and he is saved by Arjun. After talking to Michael, Arjun changes his mind and wants to be a politician. Prosenjit is worried when he hears news of students standing in the election. He uses every possible way to get them out of Politics.Firstly he provides scholarship of a prestigious foreign university to Michael. When Michael refuses the bribe, he orders his goon Gopal Singh to take control. Gopal beats some students but faces very strong retaliation from Michael and his fellow students. After that Lallan Singh takes charge and kills Gopal. He kidnaps Arjun and other candidates. However, they manage to escape with the help of Lallan Singh's ally. Lallan follows Arjun and beats him up. While running, Arjun manages to call Michael for help. He comes to rescue Arjun at Howrah Bridge.

Author Shaukat Vashisht (Sanjay Dutt) lives a wealthy life-style in India with his wife, Antara (Aishwarya Rai), who is a College Teacher. Shaukat achieves fame when he is nominated for the Booker prize, and goes on to win it. His publishers, hoping that they have unleashed a goldmine, are disappointed with his subsequent works, and soon Shaukat is depressed to such an extent that he almost gives up writing. Then he decides to write a story on a woman named Tamanna, and figures that he will base this story on none other than Antara herself.
