Synopsis
Balthasar Pellkofer a fait de la pépinière de son père une petite entreprise. Depuis que sa femme est morte il y a dix ans, l'homme énergique ne vivait que pour ses fleurs. Cela lui fait d'autant plus mal de renoncer à son entreprise. Il ne peut tout simplement pas rivaliser avec les prix bas du grand magasin. Mais il ne renonce pas, parce qu'il pense rapidement trouver du travail. Il refuse ainsi l'aide de sa fille Maxi. Même s'il est obstiné, Balthasar agit en vain. Il préfère louer sa villa, pour garantir un niveau de vie. Le couple d'architectes Claire et Guido Mortensen s'installent, tandis que Balthasar va occuper le sous-sol. Il fait la connaissance de la mère de Claire, Annette Eggers. Pendant qu'elle lui donne des conseils, ils sont de plus en plus proches.Actors

Annika est stagiaire depuis longtemps au sein de la maison de disques "GrandMusic", où elle travaille dans les relations avec la presse avec l'odieuse Cora. Elle gonfle son cv en faisant croire qu'elle parle couramment le finlandais. Enfin, elle a une chance d'avoir un CDI. Pour la mettre à l'épreuve, elle doit préparer "Ripili", un boys band finlandais, à un grand concours de talents en Allemagne. Mais à l'aéroport, Annika reçoit "Rypeli", un groupe de death metal très mauvais : elle n'a pas compris l'agent finlandais au téléphone. Annika ne peut et ne veut pas renoncer, car son poste de productrice dépend de la victoire à ce concours. Lors de la première répétition, il devient rapidement évident qu'il sera très difficile de préparer le groupe pour ce concours. Les garçons ont néanmoins aussi leur "bon" côté - Annika comprend ce que l'agent voulait dire par "diamant brut". Cependant elle fait en sorte pour que son patron ne rencontre pas les trois Finlandais. Les membres du groupe apprennent à jouer ensemble. Mais une dispute éclate lorsque Matti, le chanteur du groupe, s'essouffle et ne peut plus chanter. Auparavant il avait déjà perdu un concours. Annika amène Matti chez un médecin qui lui diagnostique de l'asthme. Aussitôt Erkki, le bassiste, est nommé chanteur.

Contrairement à ses amies, Saskia, 17 ans, n'a jamais eu de rapport sexuel. Comme elle a honte d'être encore vierge, elle reprend l'histoire de sa grand-mère, qui l'a fait pour la première fois avec un séduisant Italien lors de vacances dans ce pays. Avec cette histoire, elle parvient à impressionner ses amies mais aussi Christoph, le garçon le plus populaire, jeune chanteur, qui s'intéresse enfin à elle. Christoph est en train de percer et on dit qu'il a une liaison avec sa manager Alma. Mais Saskia n'a personne à qui confier ses problèmes. Lorsqu'elle rencontre Hannes, un garçon homosexuel de 18 ans, elle semble avoir trouvé quelqu'un pour résoudre son "problème de défloration". Il lui donne toutes sortes de conseils et organise des rendez-vous devant mettre fin à ce problème pour de bon. Mais dès sa première rencontre avec un certain DJ Pablo, Saskia prend peur car il lui propose de le faire à trois. Le suivant est un bide. Cependant entre-temps, Hannes tombe amoureux de Christoph, ce qui provoque une dispute entre le gay et Saskia.

Set during the California Gold Rush, a slick gambler named Russell Donovan (Bill Bixby) arrives to town and finds himself duped into taking care of a trio of orphans with the town's sheriff, barber, Justice of the Peace, and judge Homer McCoy (Harry Morgan) telling him that he is legally obligated unless he can have someone else take custody of the children. By chance, the Bradley children end up finding gold with everyone in the town attempting to adopt the children from Donovan. Fearing they would not have the children's intentions in heart, he arranged a marriage with the stagecoach driver Magnolia Dusty Clydesdale (Susan Clark) so they can keep custody of the Bradley children. However, things become complicated when their legal guardian returns. At the same time, a pair of bumbling holdup men named Amos Tucker (Tim Conway) and Theodore Ogelvie (Don Knotts) attempt to steal the Bradleys' gold before their former boss Frank Stillwell (Slim Pickens) kidnap the children while stealing the gold. But it ends with the gold nugget blown to bits, Stillwell arrested, and Donovan and Dusty keeping the Bradley children as they use the reward money for Stillwell's arrest to buy a farm and on their way a reformed Amos and Theodore catches up with the newfound family asking for work as farmhands.
