Eleanor's Secret (original French title Kérity, la maison des contes) is a 2009 Franco-Italian animated feature film directed by Dominique Monfery. It won the special distinction prize at the 2010 Annecy International Animated Film Festival. The film was produced in separate versions with French and English soundtracks.
Eleanor's Secret had a limited UK cinema showing and was released on DVD in 2011 by Soda Pictures.
It had no general release in the United States, but was made available for individual bookings. It was later released direct-to-video on 12 August 2014 from Cinedigm.
Synopsis
The seven-year-old hero, Nathaniel, is not a confident reader. When his eccentric old aunt Eleanor dies, she leaves her house to his parents and her huge book collection to the young boy. Nathaniel discovers that the books shelter all the heroes found in children's literature. Among them are Alice in Wonderland, Puss in Boots, Pinocchio and Little Red Riding Hood and they are counting on him for protection: if they leave the library, they will disappear along with their stories forever. When his parents start selling off the books, Nathaniel is shrunk by the evil witch Carabosse and must brave everything to save his miniature friends.Actors

Le court métrage, dont la bande-son ne comprend aucune parole mais seulement une musique de fond, forme un tableau surréaliste dont les transformations sont guidées davantage par des proximités de formes et de couleurs ou des associations symboliques que par une logique narrative. Une jeune femme cherche à retrouver l'être aimé, personnage mi-homme mi-dieu, mi-Chronos mi-joueur de baseball, dans le labyrinthe d'une forteresse imaginaire. Elle voit et traverse une série de métamorphoses : le visage de son amant fond, elle s'habille d'une robe faite de l'ombre d'une cloche et devient pissenlit, d'une main trouée surgissent des fourmis qui se muent en Français à deux roues, la rencontre de deux profils montés sur tortues engendre une ballerine qui relance la balle d'une étrange partie... De nombreux motifs — montres molles, déserts bordés de montagnes noires, personnages évidés, globes oculaires... — renvoient explicitement à l'univers de Dali.

The movie opens with black and white and a young female turtle with glasses. The scene then catches on fire and flashes out on Granny Turtle, who wakes from a bad dream, and sighs sadly. The scene then pulls us to Franklin, Beaver and Snail playing pirates, and they were about to go to a tree with an X. Just as they were about head towards there, Bear appears playing the villainous captain and Franklin defeats him. After that, the four went home. Franklin and Snail walk by Franklin's Aunt Lucy's place and notice the door was open. They went inside to see if Aunt Lucy was home, but instead someone in a mask scares them off and they run away. As they run off, the someone in behind the mask reveals to be a female turtle with a pink bonnet on the head. two run, where Franklin's parents and sister Harriet get a message of Lucy, with no post or stamp. When Franklin revels what happened, Jonathan soon gets the answers and they walk around the house, where Lucy appears to be. Lucy was at Granny Turtle's (Lucy's, Teeny's and Jonathan's mother) and promised to invited the turtles over.

The movie opens in Sydney, Australia where Nicholas and his best friend Felix, gazing at the toy shop window seeing what Santa's workshop looks like. They reside at the orphanage where all the Children were orphans. The bully, Grincroch, picks on Nicholas that Santa doesn't exist as he asks him that he's afraid of heights. But, Nicholas manages to retrieve a toy for the child after climbing up the orphanage fence. Nicholas was pure of heart believing Christmas and Santa. But on Christmas Eve, Nicholas's best friend Felix, gets adopted by his new parents and gives his lucky charm to Nicholas as Felix with his new parents move to America.

A tribe of Vikings feel flustered because in every raid they find their target locations devoid of people. Cryptograf, an advisor to Viking chief Timandahaf, says that the enemies always disappear because "Fear gives them wings". Timandahaf excitedly concludes that they must find a "Champion of Fear", who can teach them to be great cowards so they can fly, making them invincible. The chief says he'll give anything to whoever can bring him this Champion of Fear. Cryptograf hatches a secret plan to seize power and tells the chief they'll find the Champion of Fear in Gaul.

Saint-Loin-la-Mauderne est un petit village pyrénéen charmant, mais isolé et en proie à l'abandon depuis la fermeture de l'usine qui faisait travailler la quasi totalité des habitants. Tous, y compris le maire, vivent des minimas sociaux. Un espoir renaît lorsque l'Union européenne propose une aide pour implanter une nouvelle entreprise. Seule condition: avoir un médecin en poste au village. Le maire et les villageois entreprennent des recherches pour recruter ce nouveau médecin, en vain. Mais une nuit, un policier municipal originaire du village va effectuer un contrôle routier sur un jeune médecin parisien qui souhaite embrasser la carrière de chirurgien esthétique. Pris avec une petite quantité de drogue, un « marché » est passé: le policier municipal passe l'éponge si le médecin vient faire une période d'essai au village. Le maire et les habitants feront tout pour rendre le village le plus accueillant possible, afin que le docteur s'installe définitivement. Convertir le terrain de rugby en terrain de cricket, sport favori du médecin, mettre en plat du jour du seul restaurant du village son plat favori, écouter ses conversations téléphoniques pour en savoir plus sur ses intentions, tout y passe.
