Elle est un thriller germano-franco-belge réalisé par Paul Verhoeven, sorti en 2016, adaptation du roman français « Oh… » de Philippe Djian, publié en 2012.
Quinzième long-métrage du réalisateur, Elle marque son retour au long-métrage, dix ans après la sortie de son précédent film, Black Book, et est présenté en compétition au Festival de Cannes 2016.
En 2017, Paul Verhoeven et son interprète principale Isabelle Huppert obtiennent respectivement les Golden Globes du meilleur film étranger et de la meilleure actrice dans un film dramatique. Isabelle Huppert reçoit également une nomination à l'Oscar de la meilleure actrice.
Nommé onze fois aux César 2017, le film reçoit deux récompenses : le César du meilleur film et celui de la meilleure actrice pour Isabelle Huppert.
Synopsis
Georges Leblanc est emprisonné depuis les années 1970 pour avoir perpétré un massacre de masse. À l'époque, il avait impliqué sa fille Michèle dans sa folie meurtrière. Aujourd'hui, Michèle Leblanc (Isabelle Huppert) est devenue une femme d'affaires que rien ne semble atteindre. Mais au moment où son père demande à être remis en liberté, elle est violée par un inconnu masqué. Alors qu'en écho à son expérience primitive avec la police elle décide de ne pas porter plainte, un processus s'enclenche : un jeu de rôle avec son violeur et une confrontation à son passé, qui la mèneront à se libérer du « déni étrange » qui la porte.Actors

Gerard Reve (Jeroen Krabbé), an alcoholic, bisexual novelist, leaves Amsterdam to deliver a lecture at the Vlissingen Literary Society. There, he becomes sexually involved with its attractive treasurer, Christine Halslag (Renée Soutendijk), who is alternately described as a witch, black widow, Delilah and the Devil. The Virgin Mary appears to him in visions to show that he is targeted as her fourth victim. Mary says, "Anyone given a warning must listen to it." Gerard listens and his life is spared. He passes on the warning to Herman, Christine's other lover, who ignores it, thinking that Gerard is trying to scare him off so that he can have Christine for himself. The movie ends with Herman's death, Christine's selection of a fifth victim and Gerard's future uncertain.

Nomi Malone is a young drifter who hitchhikes to Las Vegas hoping to make it as a showgirl. A retired rock star, Johnny Boz, is stabbed to death with an ice pick during sex by a mysterious blonde woman at his apartment. Homicide detective Nick Curran investigates, and the only suspect is Catherine Tramell, Boz's bisexual girlfriend and a crime novelist who has written a novel that mirrors the crime. It is concluded that Catherine herself did it or someone who is trying to frame her out of spite. Tramell is uncooperative and taunting in the investigation, smoking in the interrogation room and exposing her bare genitalia in front of the officers. She presents alibis and passes a lie detector test. Nick discovers that Catherine has a habit of befriending murderers, including her girlfriend Roxy, who is later shown to have murdered several young boys on impulse, and Hazel Dobkins, who murdered her family.

In 2084, Earthbound construction worker Douglas Quaid is having troubling dreams about Mars and a mysterious woman there. His wife Lori dismisses the dreams and discourages him from thinking about Mars, where the governor, Vilos Cohaagen, is fighting rebels while searching for a rumored alien artifact located in the mines. At "Rekall", a company that provides memory implants of vacations, Quaid opts for a memory trip to Mars as a secret agent fantasy. However, during the procedure, before the memory is implanted, something goes wrong, and the story diverges between the question of what is real and what is hallucination. Apparently, Quaid starts revealing previously suppressed memories of actually being a secret agent. The company sedates him, wipes his memory of the visit, and sends him home. On the way home, Quaid is attacked by his friend Harry and some construction coworkers; he is forced to kill them, revealing elite fighting-skills. He is then attacked in his apartment by Lori, who reveals that she was never his wife; their marriage was just a false memory implant and Cohaagen sent her as an agent to monitor Quaid. He is then attacked and pursued by armed thugs led by Richter, Lori's real husband and Cohaagen's operative.

In a dystopian near-future, Detroit, which is now bankrupt and overrun with crime, gives Omni Consumer Products (OCP) control of its struggling police force. The company plans to replace the poor, run-down sections of Old Detroit with the high-end "Delta City," but must first address the city's high crime rate. As an alternative to existing law enforcement, OCP senior president Dick Jones (Ronny Cox) offers the prototype ED-209 enforcement droid, but it accidentally kills a board member during a demonstration. The OCP chairman, nicknamed "The Old Man" (Dan O'Herlihy), decides instead to back Jones' young rival, Bob Morton (Miguel Ferrer), and his experimental cyborg police officer program, "RoboCop.
