Synopsis
Julie, qui enchaîne les petits boulots précaires depuis des années, vient de décrocher un CDI à Romans-sur-Isère, la « capitale mondiale de la chaussure de luxe ». Pour Julie, ce nouveau départ rime avec nouvel espoir. À peine sa période d’essai commencée, la rumeur d’un plan social se propage dans l’usine d’escarpins où travaille la jeune femme. Tandis que les ouvrières commencent à se révolter en chansons contre la fermeture, Julie doit faire face à un dilemme : s’engager dans la lutte ou bien préserver son CDI en faisant profil bas ? Choisissant cette dernière option, Julie va pourtant se retrouver bientôt en première ligne.Actors

The film is set in the fictional County Durham mining town of Everington Village during the 1984-85 UK miners' strike, and centres on the character of 11-year-old Billy Elliot, his love of dance, and his hopes of becoming a professional ballet dancer. Billy lives with his widowed father, Jackie, and older brother, Tony, both coal miners out on strike (the latter being the union leader), and also his maternal grandmother, who probably has Alzheimer's disease and once aspired to be a professional dancer. Billy's mother, Jenny, died on 2 December 1983, aged 38.

Francis Bergeade, owner of a toilet seats and brushes' factory in Dole, has just turned 65 and his life is a misery. Sid (John Raitt) has just been hired as superintendent of the Sleeptite Pajama Factory in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He soon falls for Babe (Doris Day), a worker in the factory and member of the employee union's leadership. At the company picnic they become a couple, but Babe worries that their roles in management and labor will drive them apart. She is correct. The union is pushing for a raise of seven-and-one-half cents per hour to bring them in line with the industry standard, but the factory's manager is giving them a runaround. In retaliation, the workers pull a slow-down and deliberately foul up the pajamas, but when Babe actually sabotages some machinery, Sid fires her.

L'histoire est centrée sur Joseph, un jeune danseur de hip-hop. Il a alors l'idée de mélanger le hip-hop et la danse classique pour aider Joseph à reprendre confiance en lui en tant que danseur et meneur. Il y fera la rencontre de Chloé, qui prépare le concours d'entrée au New York City Ballet.

A criminologist narrates the tale of the newly engaged couple Brad Majors and Janet Weiss who find themselves lost and with a flat tire on a cold and rainy late November evening. Anthony "Tony" Manero (John Travolta) is a 19-year-old Italian American man from the Bay Ridge neighborhood of Brooklyn in New York City.
