Forgive and Forget is a 2000 Scottish made-for-television film in which a young latent gay man confronts his sexuality and increasing jealousy when his best friend moves in with his new girlfriend.
Synopsis
The close friendship of plasterer David (Steve John Shepherd) and mature-aged student Theo (John Simm) becomes threatened when Theo reveals that he intends to move in with Hannah (Laura Fraser), his photographer girlfriend of six months. The short-tempered David, intensely protective of his best friend, plots to break the pair up, using Hannah’s insecurities against them. When they do separate, David reveals his sexual orientation and true feelings for Theo on his favourite talk-show, Judith Adams' (Meera Syal) Forgive and Forget.Actors

When young Glaswegian cook Nina Shah (Shelley Conn) returns home for her father's funeral after three estranged years in London, England, she begins a romantic relationship with Lisa (Laura Fraser), an old childhood friend who now owns half the late father's Indian restaurant, The New Taj. Together they seek to save the restaurant by winning the national "Best in the West Curry Competition" for a third time. Nina's mother Suman (Veena Sood) and brother Kary (Atta Yaqub), however, want to sell the place to fellow restaurateur Raj (Art Malik), whose chef son Sanjay (Raji James) had been left at the altar by Nina. Elle se liera d'amitié avec un jeune québécois, J-F, qui habite la région depuis 10 ans. Il lui présentera ses colocs et Marie partagera le chalet avec eux. Les choses se placeront pour Marie, elle finira par se trouver un emploi comme femme de chambre dans un hôtel cinq étoiles et son anglais s'améliore. Sa quête de soi l'amène jusqu'à s'interroger sur son orientation sexuelle. Elle hésite à téléphoner à ses parents qui ne lui parlent que de sa sœur Julie. C'est à la suite d'un accident de ski de J-F qu'elle réalise combien elle tient à lui. Ayant skié hors-piste, J-F ne peut toucher les assurances et est contraint de vendre ses biens dont sa voiture, une Westfalia orange. Marie rachète la Westfalia et décide de continuer sa quête jusqu'au Mexique où elle rejoindra J-F.
