It tells the story of a lazy man who helps sociable lady and her children from the Nazis.
Synopsis
At the time of the occupation of France, the destiny joins together the poacher Fortunat, honest guy somewhat related to drink and Juliette, elegant woman accompanied by her two children: Pierre and Maurice. Miss Massillon, a helpful teacher, tries to help Juliette who is sought by the Nazis since her husband, a chief of resistance, was stopped. Juliette and her children must gain the free zone to take refuge in Toulouse. For that it is necessary for them to cross the line of demarcation. It is Fortunat which is charged to lead in sure place the two children and their mother. Close links will link Fortunat and Juliette. A scene of film implies clearly that they have a sexual relationship at least once. But the release occurs and Juliette finds her husband. Fortunat sets out again then towards its destiny of solitary man.Actors

André Loriot est l'assistant et l'homme de confiance du Docteur Clérac, le directeur d'un laboratoire de Psycho-chimie, qui a pour slogan « La bonne humeur c'est la santé » et qui a conçu les pilules euphorisantes BH33. Ce jour-là, il a une journée fort chargée, après avoir programmé l'échange de son appartement avec une prof de musique afin de vivre avec Juliette, il rencontre fortuitement Madame Gonzalès à qui il demande de faire tourner sa voiture pendant qu'il se rend à sa banque. En échange il devra la conduire chez le coiffeur. En sortant de la banque, il constate que Madame Gonzalès (qui n'a pas eu la patience d'attendre) est partie seule chez le coiffeur avec la voiture d'André. Entre-temps il apprend que sa sœur a accouché, et il part acheter de la layette. Au magasin une anglaise est sur le point d'accoucher, la voiture d'André est réquisitionnée pour la conduire à la clinique. André arrive en retard à un rendez-vous d'affaire avec un homme d'affaires hollandais ; ce dernier pense surtout à draguer mais ne maîtrisant pas la langue, il demande à André de le faire à sa place, mais ce dernier se fait éconduire. Il apprend ensuite que Madame Gonzalès est la maîtresse de son patron. André lui sert d'alibi en allant au restaurant où il est censé déjeuner et en prenant les communications de son épouse. Après toutes ces péripéties, l'échange d'appartement ne peut se faire, l'acquéreur réclamant une reprise de 3 millions que ni lui ni Juliette ne possèdent, il avale alors une dose excessive d'euphorisants pour réclamer cette somme à son patron qui lui répondra en le mettant à la porte. Après avoir eu des démêlés avec l'ambassadeur d'Albanie qui le mèneront au poste de police, André tente de relativiser les choses d'autant que tout finira par s'arranger.

In German-occupied Paris, an announcer reports during a blackout that the Second Front has begun, with British forces invading the Continent, and that five Royal Air Force fighters have been shot down. The downed pilots split up and make their way to Paris to try to arrange their escape back to England. On the way, they break into a tavern in search of civilian clothes. When a German soldier shows up for a drink, Squadron Leader Paul Lavallier (Paul Henreid), a member of the Free French, knocks him out and takes his money. In Paris, Paul contacts an old teacher of his, Father Antoine (Thomas Mitchell), who agrees to hide the reunited men in the sewers underneath his cathedral.

Chaïm Silberschatz (Robert Hirsch), chef d’orchestre de renommée mondiale, est venu finir ses jours en Israël. Il manquera finalement quelques minutes. Les fils n’hériteront pas, mais ils auront le bonheur de réussir une nouvelle vie. Chaïm et Yonkel repartiront donc ensemble.

Summer 1941. Over Nazi-occupied France, a Royal Air Force B17 Flying Fortress becomes lost after a mission and is shot down over Paris by German flak. The crew, Sir Reginald, Peter Cunningham and Alan MacIntosh, parachute out over the city, where they run into and are hidden by a house painter, Augustin Bouvet, and the grumbling conductor of the Opéra National de Paris, Stanislas Lefort. Involuntarily, Lefort and Bouvet get themselves tangled up in the manhunt against the aviators led by Wehrmacht Major Achbach as they help the airmen to escape to the free zone with the help of Resistance fighters and sympathisers.

During the Italian campaigns of the French Revolutionary Wars Brigadier Le Gouce and private Jean-Louis forfeit their horses. Afraid of a severe punishment both lie to Captain Georges. They just make up a story about them having been the target of a selective ambush. Little later their regiment is annihilated by an Austrian attack.
