French Fried Vacation 3 or Les Bronzés 3: Amis pour la vie ("The sun-tanned ones 3: friends for life", released in some English-speaking countries as Friends Forever) is a 2006 French comedy film, and the sequel to Les Bronzés (1978) and Les Bronzés font du ski (1979). Like the first two films, it is directed by Patrice Leconte and stars mostly members of the theatrical/film troupe Le Splendid. Les Bronzés 3: Amis pour la vie follows up on the revelers from the first two films, now in their 50s.
Synopsis
The characters from the first two films get together again, 27 years on, in Sardinia. The obsession with sex has not disappeared but has taken a backwards step in the face of financial preoccupations. Bernard and Nathalie Morin (Gérard Jugnot, Josiane Balasko), are the parents of a son who reveals a homosexual liaison; J.C. (Michel Blanc) and Gigi (Marie-Anne Chazel), are living together; Jérome Tarayre (Christian Clavier), is divorced and seems unhappy in his new life; Christiane Weissmuller (Dominique Lavanant), has joined an esoteric sect and wants revenge on Jérome who messed up an operation he performed on her; Popeye (Thierry Lhermitte), has become the proprietor of the hotel where the group has re-assembled, and is as unfaithful as ever.Actors

Friends of the first part can be found in the ski resort of Val d'Isere where Jerome, Gigi and Popeye work. Jerome and Gigi are now married : Gigi holds a pancake while Jerome exercised in his medical practice. Nathalie and Bernard, reconciled and fairly "new rich" are owners of a time share. Jean-Claude, always in search of a soul mate and still no seduction, desperately trying to dredge anything that moves. Christiane landed with a married man and much older than her, Marius. Popeye is now much less sure of himself: humiliated by his wife cheating on him with his cousin, he claims his friends that he is the manager of a ski shop when it was held by the same couple. During an exit off piste skiing, the group loses before being rescued by mountain peasants, which will make them taste artisan food and drink: first of pussy - a strong cheese soaked in fat , rinds, and wood alcohol for two or three seasons - and the shallot liquor found in garlic juice "because shallot alone, it s'rait too bland" in a parody of the famous scene Tontons gunslingers.

Guy (Michel Blanc) travaille comme pompiste dans une station service. Son copain Daniel (Bernard Giraudeau) est déménageur dans une petite entreprise. Gagnant d'un concours organisé par le site LDLC.COM et après s'être fait larguer par sa petite amie à l'aéroport, Bruno part seul en Guadeloupe dans un club All Inclusive, le Club Caraibes Princess.
