The film's underlying plot is to create the "ultimate brassiere" for a Japanese company specialising in this undergarment, hence the fanciful title. Samantha (Carina Lau), who is managing the Hong Kong subsidiary of the company, is the project leader of this assignment and she appoints two zany but highly creative designers to aid her in that project, Wayne (Louis Koo) and Johnny (Lau Ching-wan). Johnny flirts with Samantha soon enough, being engaged in such a work, which he claims would assist in his creative powers although the story was more engaged in the humorous efforts in creating the bra. However, Samantha snubbed his overtures and their love affair remained in balance.

In this sequel to the La Brassiere, Lena (Gigi Leung), Johnny (Lau Ching-wan) and Wayne (Louis Koo) are tasked with developing the "Mighty B" line of baby products. Since the last successful development of the "Mighty Bra", Johnny is now head of the department, he hires a neurotic secretary Sabrina (Rosamund Kwan). Lena and Wayne are planning their wedding, however, Wayne has "Baby-Phobia" which throws a wrench into their task of developing the premier "Mighty B" line of baby products. Lena hires child behavior expert Boey (Cecilia Cheung), to work with Wayne to overcome his phobia but things start to go awry when Wayne starts developing feelings for Boey.

A nameless hitwoman (Jacklyn Wu) who, for reasons not entirely clear, has a lower than average body temperature. She is cold-blooded in other ways as well, assassinating her targets with steely detachment and having only two real acquaintances: the Cambodian woman who gives her killing assignments and money, and the street vendor Long Shek (Sean Lau), at whose stand she habitually relaxes after successful hits with a bowl of noodles. Long Shek dubs her Pretty Ghost, and the two gradually become something like friends. Pretty Ghost ends up traveling to South Korea to assassinate a local gangland kingpin, a job she decides will be her last. However, the dead man's bodyguard, Yichin (Sang Woo Han), is out for revenge and comes after Pretty Ghost, and she is quickly betrayed by her Cambodian boss. In between scenes of violence, the film explores Pretty Ghost's character and her slow change from icy killing machine to humanized woman.

Tan (Louis Koo) and Tide Ho (Daniel Wu) are estranged twin brothers who have fought ever since they were born. Tan was a bright child who was active and outgoing while Tide is the complete opposite, whom was shy and introverted. But in reality, Tide was actually just as bright as Tan but kept it to himself. On his twenty-sixth birthday, Tide receives the news of his brother's death. He then proceeds to investigate Tan's mysterious death. In Tan's house, Tide meets his brother's lover Sandy (Jo Kuk) and best friend Mann (Patrick Tam). Tide eventually discovers that his brother was framed in a boxing fight and was killed during a fight. Buster est un jeune comédien acrobate dans une troupe de théâtre professionnelle. Pendant une représentation, il est censé rentrer sur scène et apporter une lance au comédien principal, le célèbre maître Hung, mais celle-ci disparaît dans les loges presque sous ses yeux. Désespéré, il cherche l'arme partout et tombe nez à nez avec un mystérieux fantôme accompagné d'une lanterne rouge. Sans savoir comment, Buster se retrouve dans la rue, loin du théâtre où il travaille. Il arrive in extremis sur scène avec ladite lance pour la donner à maître Hung. Mais celui-ci change brutalement d'attitude et se met à chanter une chanson d'une voix de femme. Le public s'enfuit, la pièce est arrêtée et Buster finit par être renvoyé. La nuit suivante, le fantôme vient à nouveau hanter le jeune garçon.

The story is set in the early Republican era in China. Tang Yunlong, an archaeology professor, returns from the United States to China and he brings along his daughter, Tang Ning, with him. He meets Paul Chen, an antique seller who deals in stolen artefacts from all over China. A fight breaks out when Tang seizes a treasure map from Chen. Tang defeats Chen's men and escapes with the map. The Tangs then make their way to the Wudang Mountains to attend a martial arts contest. Chi-yan (Gao Yuanyuan) is an analyst who just broke up with her boyfriend (Terence Yin) as he was having a baby with another woman (Selena Li). Sean (Louis Koo), a CEO of a broker firm, knew Chi-yan as her office is just opposite of his. He liked Chi-yan all the while, but knew that she was in a relationship and did not want to interfere, and started to take action as he saw what happened in the bus between Chi-yan, her ex, and his current wife. However, Kevin (Daniel Wu), an architect, who dressed shabbily, and an alcoholic, helped Chi-yan out when she was heartbroken by her ex. With Chi Yan's support and, Kevin decided to pick up designing again, and dated her to meet up again a week later. Chi-yan totally forgot about it as she was starting out with Sean, but it did not work out as Sean had a one-night stand with Angelina which started with a misunderstanding and ended his relationship with Chi-yan. Sean later shifted his office as the economy crisis caused him to lose a big sum of money and went over to US. Three years later, Sean comes back into her life as her boss. He tries to win her heart again, but she is put off, because he would be easily seduced by women. Chi-yan becomes disappointed him and right around this time, Kevin also comes back into her life. Subsequent their last meeting, he successfully started an architecture firm and moves to where Sean's old office was located. Both guys court her and she must choose between the aggressive "flower-hearted" Sean or the sincere Kevin.
