The Cheerleaders are accidentally turned into superheros by a deranged genius. They must defeat the power-hungry mad scientist while struggling to win the annual cheerleading competition.
Synopsis
When a trio of cheerleaders gets zapped by a jolt of electricity while at a local hairdresser, a lot more changes than their hair style. Endowed with their superpowers like X-ray vision, Super Strength and the ability to Fly; cheerleaders Chrissy, Ping and Mackenzie soon finds themselves with a responsibility greater than winning the cheerleading competition—thwarting the evil Dr. Nightingale's plans for total world domination. As the trio explores their new found powers, they learn the value of teamwork and perseverance. The Groove Squad Girls may be stereo typically obsessed with their looks and popularity, but like Kim Possible, the group quickly proves to be an athletic group of women serious about the sport of cheering and responsibility to society. Popular teen lingo pervades this feature-length presentation that's packed with humorous detail like flower power hippies, a fully equipped car à la James Bond, and a character who sounds like Austin Powers and Officer Tom Hanson.Actors

One night, the Sprites of the Northern Lights- a group of singing, colorfully garbed sprites who fly around the North Pole, are seen putting on a remarkable light show in front of Santa Claus' workshop, where Santa and his wife, Mrs. Claus witness the whole thing, to celebrate a very special occasion. It is revealed that a baby reindeer which his parents, Blitzen and his wife, Mitzi name Rudolph is born with an unusual red, shiny nose (a birth which the Sprites joyfully witness as well). Blitzen starts to worry that Rudolph will be made fun of because of this, while Mitzi is more optimistic. Later in the morning, they meet up with Rudolph's three uncles- Dasher, Comet, and Cupid -and introduce Rudolph to them. Cupid tickles Rudolph's chin and tummy until his nose starts glowing, which draws attention. Blitzen's worries then come true with the secret of their son's nose now revealed to Comet, Cupid, Dasher, and the rest of the residents of the North Pole.

In the human world, the students of Canterlot High School are preparing for an upcoming musical showcase, where Twilight Sparkle's human friends are to perform in their own band called the Rainbooms. They find that they assume half-pony forms whenever they play, which is caused by the Equestrian magic brought by Twilight's crown. Meanwhile, former school bully Sunset Shimmer is ostracized by the rest of the students despite her efforts to redeem herself, though Twilight's friends still value their newfound friendship with Sunset. Sunset volunteers to show three new students—Adagio Dazzle, Aria Blaze, and Sonata Dusk—around the school. The trio, who form a band called the Dazzlings, perform a magical song that drives the students to aggression and competition, and they convince the school to make the showcase a Battle of the Bands. Sunset and her friends are unaffected by the Dazzlings' spell, and they contact Equestria for help through a magical book given to Sunset by Princess Celestia.

The students of Canterlot High School prepare for the quadrennial Friendship Games sporting event held between their school team, the Wondercolts, and the Shadowbolts from Crystal Prep Academy, a prestigious school with a reputation of poor sportsmanship and a fierce competitive streak. Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna advise Sunset Shimmer and her friends against using Equestrian magic in the games to keep the competition fair, but Sunset, who has been studying the magic's effects in the human world, becomes concerned when her friends begin to "pony up" (magically gain pony-like ears, tails and wings) at seemingly random times. Meanwhile, Crystal Prep is attended by the human world's version of Twilight Sparkle, a school outcast who has been investigating magical activity at Canterlot High as part of an independent study application. Twilight's principal, Abacus Cinch, forces her to lend her intellectual skill in the games by threatening to revoke her application.

In Equestria, the newly crowned Princess Twilight Sparkle visits the Crystal Empire with her Ponyville friends for a royal summit with princesses Celestia, Luna, and Cadance. That night, Twilight's crown and Element of Magic is stolen by the unicorn Sunset Shimmer, a former student of Celestia. After a chase through the castle, Sunset drops the crown through a magic mirror and follows after it. The princesses inform the ponies that the mirror leads to a different world, and they task Twilight with retrieving her crown on the other side before the portal closes again for thirty moons, or else the Elements of Harmony borne by her friends will no longer protect Equestria. Despite Celestia's insistence that Twilight must travel alone, Twilight's dragon assistant Spike anxiously jumps in after her as she enters the mirror.

A professional skateboarder named Tony Valdez is severely injured by mind-controlled zombies created through nano-technology the day his parents mysteriously die in an accident secretly caused by his father's business partner Nigel Harrington.
