Add to a movie listGuyver: Dark Hero (also known as The Guyver 2) is a 1994 American science fiction action film based on the manga and anime, Bio Booster Armor Guyver. It is a sequel to the 1991 film, The Guyver. Written by Nathan Long and directed by Steve Wang, the film stars David Hayter as Sean Barker/The Guyver, replacing Jack Armstrong in the role.
Compared to the previous film, Guyver: Dark Hero was much closer to the source material, more serious and violent. The flashback to the Creation of the Guyvers, for instance, is taken almost verbatim from the manga. Because of the film's low budget, Guyver: Dark Hero went direct-to-video in the United States but was given a limited theatrical run in foreign countries. Unlike the first film, Guyver: Dark Hero was Rated R (unlike the PG-13 rating of the first movie), being much more violent as mentioned above. Despite not receiving a theatrical release, Guyver: Dark Hero gained a cult following and was met with more favorable reviews than its predecessor.
Synopsis
One year has passed since Sean Barker came into contact with the Guyver unit and became one with it. Having destroyed the Kronos Corporation, the company behind the Guyver and the creatures known as the Zoanoids, Sean tries to use his powers to fight crime, but the Guyver's desire to kill leaves him emotionally and spiritually tortured. After watching a news report of an archaeological dig in the mountains of Utah that remind him of the visions he has been receiving from the Guyver unit, Sean travels to the site. On his way, he meets Cori Edwards, a researcher at the dig and the daughter of head archaeologist Marcus Edwards. Upon arriving at the archaeological site, he sees the fossil of a Zoanoid that resembles his past nemesis Lisker. Later that night, Sean finds himself once again battling a Zoanoid that has been terrorizing the camp, but it disappears when Cori and her team arrive. Sean is later on questioned by Commander Atkins, who reveals to him that the Guyver only destroyed the Kronos Los Angeles, and that another branch of Kronos is behind the Zoanoid attacks in the camp.Actors

The Dekarangers encounter the Algolian Gas Drinkers following a high-speed pursuit, and while the Alienizer gang manages to retreat, Deka Break recovers a briefcase that they were carrying. Inside the briefcase is a top-secret virus called "Golden Snow", which was being experimented on the planet Leslie. As communications to Leslie have failed, Tetsu is assigned to travel to the planet to investigate while the other Dekarangers scout around for leads on the Gas Drinkers' whereabouts. Ban and Jasmine enter a nightclub, where Ban meets Marie Gold, a beautiful singer with the ability to temporarily stop time. She also reveals herself as an undercover SPD officer from Leslie. It is revealed that the Gas Drinkers released the Golden Snow virus on Leslie, turning the planet's population into machine slaves. Marie is the only survivor, as she was on patrol duty outside the planet. The gang's intention was to infect planets with the virus before selling the vaccine to them for a high price with the help of Agent Abrella; however, their plans were complicated by the Dekarangers' intervention upon their arrival on Earth.

Two years after the events of Kamen Rider the First, a strange series of bizarre murders occur with the victims mutilated in a most gruesome fashion while pop star Chiharu's "Platinum Smile" is being played, becoming an urban legend. After a global-scale nuclear war, the majority of earth's surface has become a wasteland, with most of the world's survivors fighting over the few uncontaminated food and water supplies. Two years after the defeat of Majin Boo, Mr. Satan finally finishes construction on his brand new hotel. Feeling guilty that the hotel is in honor of what the majority of Earth believes to be his defeat of Boo, he invites all of the characters and their families to a banquet. Goku and Vegeta decide to spar, as they have dressed in their usual fighting outfits. Shortly after dinner, two Saiyan spaceships land just outside of town, and a mysterious Saiyan and his wife confront the heroes at the hotel. They are revealed to be Vegeta's younger brother, Tarble, who had been deemed too weak to fight in the past and was sent to a distant star before the destruction of Planet Vegeta, and his wife Gure, who is a small, cartoon-like alien. Tarble asks his brother for help in dealing with Abo and Kado, soldiers who are remnants of Freeza's army, who are causing havoc on his planet. Goku and Vegeta argue over who will fight the brothers. Even their sons and friends offer to join in, but so many fighting two people seems unfair, so Goku comes up with an idea to solve the issue.
