Synopsis
Alors que le Commandant Thomas Lasky écoute l'appel de détresse de Cortana, il se rappelle les circonstances de sa première rencontre avec le Major Spartan 117. Sur la planète Circunius-IV, à l'Académie Militaire de Corbulo de l'United Nations Space Command (UNSC), qui forme les marines et les ODST (Helljumpers en anglais), un groupe de jeunes cadets de bonne famille s'entraîne pour prendre la relève dans la guerre contre les insurgés des planètes coloniales extérieures. Parmi eux, Thomas Lasky doit faire face à ses doutes sur cette guerre et sur ses propres capacités, alors qu'il est pressenti pour une grande carrière de chef militaire. Tandis que Lasky s'affirme peu à peu, son monde est mis brusquement à feu et à sang par l'irruption d'une nouvelle menace : les Covenants, une terrifiante alliance extraterrestre.Actors

In the Southeast Asian nation of Shadaloo City, civil war has erupted between the forces of crazed military dictator General M. Bison (Raul Julia) and the Allied Nations, a multinational military force, led by their regional commander, Colonel William F. Guile. Bison has recently captured several A.N. relief workers, and via a live two-way radio broadcast, demands Guile secure a US$20 billion ransom in three days or else face responsibility for the hostages' deaths. Guile refuses and vows to track Bison down, but his assistant, Sergeant Cammy (Kylie Minogue) is only partially able to pinpoint Bison's location to the river-delta region outside the city. One of the hostages is Guile's close friend, Carlos "Charlie" Blanka (Robert Mammone), who Bison orders taken to his lab for his captive witch doctor, Dhalsim (Roshan Seth), to turn into the first of his supersoldiers. Though Charlie is severely disfigured by the procedure, Dhalsim secretly alters his cerebral programming to maintain Charlie's humanity.

Set between the events of Dead Rising 2 and Dead Rising 3, The story follows online reporter Chase Carter and his camerawoman Jordan as they cover the stories of the people inside of the walled-in quarantined area in Oregon, as the government (running an organization called FEZA—Federal Emergency Zombie Authority) attempts to contain a viral outbreak that turns people into ravenous zombies. The film begins in a jungle at nighttime as a mercenary squad scouts the nearby area looking out for modified super soldiers ("Trigens" in the Game), only to be slaughtered by a lone Mutant. A 16-year-old boy wakes up inside an underground service elevator with no memory of his identity. A group of male youths greet him in a large grassy area called the Glade that is enclosed by tall, stone walls. Every month, a new boy and supplies arrive in the elevator. The boys, who call themselves Gladers, have formed a rudimentary society with each assuming specialized tasks. Alby, their leader and the first to arrive in the Glade, says every boy eventually recalls his name, but none remember their past. The boy learns that a vast Maze surrounding the Glade may provide the only way out.
