Synopsis
Amis depuis l'enfance, Vic Rodell et Jesse James font partie de la même bande de hors-la-loi depuis des années. Mais, un jour, lors de ce qui ressemble au hold-up de trop, Vic est blessé. Il décide alors de changer de vie et s'installe avec Paula, sa fiancée. Bob Ford, le frère de la jeune femme, est également un ancien membre du gang des frères James. In a version of a standard western plot, the saloon owner Barnett wants the land under the local Indian Reservation for its gold deposits. In order to drive off the people living on the reservation, he forms a gang to attack the local ranchers and frame the Indians. In a forerunner of The Dirty Dozen, Marine Gunnery Sergeant McGrath (Robert Webber) takes 12 Marines from the brig and trains them to blow up a tunnel behind North Korean lines. McGrath's only friend on the patrol is his Korean guide Pak (Dale Ishimoto). Hating their sergeant, the Marines plan to return to their lines without him, seeing that he becomes "a casualty of war". Set prior to the Civil War but after the South has seceded from the U.S., Kansas Pacific centres of the efforts to build a railroad across Kansas toward the West Coast.
