Synopsis
Dans cette entrée de Roy Rogers, mettant en vedette une chanson écrite par le gouverneur de l'Oklahoma Roy J. Turner (faisant de lui et de Jimmie Davis de Lousiania et de WE "Pappy" O'Daniel du Texas les seuls gouverneurs d'État à écrire des chansons utilisées dans un western), Flying U Le propriétaire du ranch, Sam Talbot, est tué par une chute de cheval. La journaliste de St. Louis Connie Edwards vient vérifier une rumeur selon laquelle il aurait pu être assassiné. Elle va chez Roy Rogers, rédacteur en chef du journal local, et il l'emmène à la lecture du testament de Talbot. Le ranch est laissé au pupille de Talbot, duc Lowery, âgé de 12 ans, au grand désarroi de la nièce de Talbot, Jan Holloway. Après quelques tentatives sur la vie de Duke, Roy prouve finalement que Jan, Steve McClory et le coroner Jim Judnick ont fait tuer Talbot et conspirent pour faire de même pour Duke, faisant de Jan le dernier héritier.Actors
