Synopsis
Un groupe de retraités âgés et calmes découvrent qu'il est prévu de démolir leurs maisons pour faire place à un immeuble d'appartements. Leurs tentatives visant à décourager les promoteurs passent rapidement de la dissuasion à l’assassinat alors qu’ils commencent à se débarrasser à la fois des promoteurs et des ouvriers de la construction par tous les moyens nécessaires.Actors

Dans un quartier en rénovation, où les petites habitations individuelles sont détruites pour faire place aux grands ensembles imaginés par le moniteur Crawford, six vieillards refusent pourtant de quitter leur demeure. “White Folks” (Kiel Martin) and “Blue” Howard (Mel Stewart) are two con men in Philadelphia. White Folks is the son of a black mother who is a prostitute and a white father, a customer (the reason why his enemies call him Trick Baby). Folks's complexion is light enough for him to pass as a white man. Blue is an older black hustler who raised White Folks and taught him “the con”. The pair pull off the biggest score of their lives but before they can collect the money a previous con is complicating things. Unbeknownst to them their previous victim had mob ties and now they have run afoul of the Mafia and a corrupt cop. They must decide whether to leave town or risk their lives to collect the $130,000 from their most brilliant con.

Brilliant surgeon Daniel Jekyll (Mark Blankfield) dedicates himself to medical research, hoping to unlock man's animal nature and increase his capacity for self-healing. Jekyll accidentally creates a white powder which, when inhaled through the nose, temporarily turns him into a completely uninhibited sex maniac who calls himself Mister Hyde. Jekyll can't bring himself to throw away the drug or to stop taking it, and Hyde's escapades play havoc with Jekyll's life. In 1913 Wollaston, Massachusetts, teenage student Ruth Gordon Jones (Jean Simmons) dreams of a theatrical career after becoming mesmerized by a performance of The Pink Lady in a Boston theater. Blondie Bumstead is having trouble balancing the family budget, particularly as she wants to buy a new fur coat. Her husband Dagwood also needs money for the membership fee of a fishing club he wants to join. Blondie becomes jealous when she finds Dagwood with an overfamiliar old friend, Joan Forrester, and begins to suspect that they are having an affair. Following the funeral of Simon Cordier (Vincent Price), a French magistrate and amateur sculptor, his secret diary is read out by Simon's pastor friend to a group of people gathered around the table, Simon's servants, and a police captain.
