Synopsis
Dans un quartier en rénovation, où les petites habitations individuelles sont détruites pour faire place aux grands ensembles imaginés par le moniteur Crawford, six vieillards refusent pourtant de quitter leur demeure. Plusieurs accidents retardent les travaux. Les vieillards, cachés dans leur maison, assassinent deux personnes dont le promoteur, puis se disputent et s'entretuent. Les survivants se réfugient alors dans une autre maison promise elle aussi à la démolition.Actors

At the start of the film, the US Government has ordered a branch of the US Military to discontinue tests concerning "the C.H.U.D. project", which is built around the idea that enzymes taken from the sewer dwelling creatures from C.H.U.D. can make hyper-effective killing machines in the army. Peter Loew (Nicolas Cage) is a driven literary agent, who is slowly going insane. The film opens with two short sequences before the main story line begins, first a prologue, and then a mock television advertisement. In the prologue, a seemingly helpless young woman is pursued by Jason Voorhees, Leatherface, and Freddy Krueger; she is then chased into a cave and reappears a few seconds later with an item from each of the three. After presumably defeating Apocalypse Inc., the Toxic Avenger has nothing to do. He tries to get a job but fails, as a normal job is no place for a hideously deformed creature of superhuman size and strength. Until one day, Toxie is told that his blind girlfriend Claire has a chance to see again, but it will cost a great deal of money. When the famous superhero gets the opportunity to work as a spokesman for Apocalypse Inc., he agrees so he can get money for Claire. As he was unaware of the evil nature of his employers, Apocalypse Inc. took over Tromaville and enslaved the populace. After Claire's surgery, she opens up Toxie's eyes and it is revealed that the Devil himself is the chairman of Apocalypse Inc. Things begin to make a change for the worse as the Toxic Avenger will be transformed back to his original form, the dorky Melvin Junko, and must face a showdown with the Devil. The Toxic Avenger defeats the Devil through the "Five Levels of Doom" trial ordeal, defeating Apocalypse Inc.

The mother-reliant and weakling Ramon (Vhong Navarro) is forced to work as a landscape artist to pay off their family's debt.
