Twin brothers Gary and Larry Lane, originally from Goldsboro, N.C., have written a screenplay entitled Full Circle with a role specifically for their idol, Dolly Parton. Unsuccessful in their efforts to bring the screenplay to the singer-actress’s attention, the brothers travel in an RV from Los Angeles, where they reside, to Dollywood, Parton’s theme park in Pigeon Forge, Tenn. Their plan is to hand the screenplay to Parton, whom they had met a few times briefly, at one of her scheduled appearances during Dollywood’s 25th anniversary celebration.Origin USAGenres Comedy,

The film is a tribute to Bruce Vilanch, who writes material for celebrities who make public appearances, from Oscar hosts and award recipients to Presidents. Villanche's mother and photos of childhood are shown in the film; in Chicago, he writes for the Tribune and then heads West. Whoopi Goldberg, Billy Crystal, Robin Williams, and Bette Midler talk with him and to the camera about working with Bruce, and we also watch Bruce help others prepare for Liz Taylor's 65th birthday, Bill Clinton's 50th birthday, and an AIDS awards banquet where Vilanch lets his emotions show. , 1h50
