Kickboxer: Vengeance is an upcoming American martial arts film directed by John Stockwell, and starring Alain Moussi, Jean-Claude Van Damme (who played Kurt Sloane in the original Kickboxer), Dave Bautista, Gina Carano, Georges St-Pierre and Darren Shahlavi (in his final film role). It is the sixth installment of the Kickboxer series, and a remake of the original 1989 Kickboxer film, serving as a reboot of the franchise.
Synopsis
The film follows Eric and Kurt Sloan, the descendants of a California dynasty of champions. After Eric wins the Karate World Championship, a promoter lures him to Hong Kong despite his brother’s protests. When Eric dies, Kurt turns to his former mentor Master Durand to seek revenge on the vicious Tong Po.Actors

Terry Yue Siu-bo, a single father who single handedly raises his two children, Natalie and Nicky, to young adulthood after his wife's death. Andorran prostitute and single mother Catalina "Cat" Rona is hired to participate in an orgy in Montenegro along with other escorts, for powerful men including American Senator William Krebb. Kurt Sloane (Jean-Claude Van Damme) is the cornerman for his brother Eric (Dennis Alexio), an American kickboxing champion. Kurt and Eric travel to Bangkok to challenge Tong Po (Michel Qissi), Thailand's undefeated champion. After a brutal first round, Kurt realizes that they are outmatched by Tong Po and tries to convince his brother to stop the fight. Unwilling to give up, Eric returns for the second round and continues to take a vicious beating, finally prompting Kurt to throw in the towel. Tong Po ignores him and continues the assault, which ultimately leaves Eric paralyzed from the waist down. Eric is then carried outside and left on the street without any help, until Winston Taylor (Haskell Anderson), a retired US Army special forces member, intervenes and agrees to take the brothers to the hospital. After several hours of surgery, the doctor informs Kurt that Eric will never walk again.

In New Orleans, a homeless veteran named Douglas Binder is the target of a hunt. He is given a belt containing $10,000 and told that he must reach the other side of town where he would then win the money and his life.
