Life-Size 2: A Christmas Eve est un téléfilm américain réalisé par Steven Tsuchida et diffusé le 2 décembre 2018 sur Freeform sous le label Freeform Original Feature et dans le cadre du bloc 25 Days of Christmas.

C'est la suite du téléfilm Grandeur nature, diffusé en 2000 dans l'émission Le Monde merveilleux de Disney sur le réseau ABC. Mais contrairement au premier volet, il s'adresse à un public plus mature. Il n'est donc pas produit par Walt Disney Television mais par l'une des filiales de la firme, la chaîne Freeform.

Synopsis

Grace Martin est la fille de l'ancienne directrice de Marathon Toys, un important fabriquant de jouets célèbre pour sa poupée mannequin, Eve. Mais depuis que sa mère est en prison, Grace en est la nouvelle directrice. Peu motivée, elle ne prend pas sa position en sérieux et cela, malgré le fait que l'entreprise soit dans une passe difficile.

Marley warns Scrooge that he will suffer an even worse fate if he does not repent. He then tells Scrooge he will be visited by three more spirits that will help guide him.

Frank Cross (Bill Murray) is a successful but cynical television programming executive for the IBC network headquartered in New York City. Hours before the show is set to start, Frank is alone in his office when he is visited by the ghost of his mentor Lew Hayward (John Forsythe), who warns him of the errors of his ways and that three ghosts will visit him over the course of the night. Before he leaves, Lew causes Frank's phone to call Claire Phillips (Karen Allen), Frank's true love who he had foregone when he became a television executive. Claire comes to visit Frank, but finds him too busy with preparations for the show, though leaves him the address of the homeless shelter that she helps out at.

Jack Frost (Michael Keaton) is the lead singer in a rock band simply titled "The Jack Frost Band", based in the fictional town of Medford, Colorado, who make their living performing blues covers and an assortment of their own songs in the hope of signing a record deal. He then returns to his 11-year-old son Charlie (Joseph Cross), who has just returned from an epic snowball fight against the bully Rory Buck (Taylor Handley). They spend some quality time by building a snowman in their front yard. Afterward, Jack tucks Charlie into bed and gives him his best harmonica, which Jack got the day Charlie was born. He then jokes with Charlie, telling him that it's magical, and he'll be able to hear the harmonica wherever he is. Jack promises his wife Gabby (Kelly Preston) that he will attend his son's hockey game. However, he misses the hockey's game in favor of recording the ironically named "Don't Lose Your Faith". Jack then promises to take his family on a Christmas trip to the mountains, but is called in on a gig that could either make or break his career. On his way to the gig, Jack realizes his mistake and borrows his best friend Mac's (Mark Addy) car to go home and be with his family. Unfortunately, a bad storm begins to block his view. Due to a faulty windshield wiper on Mac's car, Jack is unable to navigate through the storm, and as a result, he crashes his car, and is killed instantly (offscreen).
