Little Women is a 1978 romantic family drama television film directed by David Lowell Rich and based upon Louisa May Alcott's novel of the same name. The screenplay was written by Suzanne Clauser. Koch Vision released the DVD.

Synopsis

C'est l'histoire des quatre filles d'un médecin, le Dr March, à l'époque de la guerre de sécession. La famille vit à Concord dans le Massachusetts, la mère, la tante et chacune des jeunes filles, Meg, Jo, Beth et Amy sont dans l'attente du retour du Dr March qui est au front. Chacune des jeunes filles vit ses propres rêves.

Philip Schuyler Green (Gregory Peck) is a widowed journalist who has just moved to New York City with his son Tommy (Dean Stockwell) and mother (Anne Revere). Green meets with magazine publisher John Minify (Albert Dekker), who asks Green, a gentile, to write an article on antisemitism ("some people don't like other people just because they're Jews"). The film is set in Jennings County, Indiana in 1863.
