Synopsis
Jeune avocat d'Aix-en-Provence, Marc délaisse son épouse, Jeanne, pour passer ses soirées à boire et jouer aux cartes en compagnie de ses copains. Compréhensive, la jeune femme laisse faire, jusqu'au jour où elle trouve son mari dans les bras d'une autre. Écœurée, elle le chasse du domicile conjugal. Marc doit alors s'installer à l'hôtel. En proie aux remords, il tente en vain de renouer avec Jeanne. La déprime commence à le gagner quand son patron, le bâtonnier Ravignac, le charge d'aller réceptionner à l'aéroport sa petite amie, Samantha, une ravissante call-girl ...Actors

Des difficultés financières vont entraîner le rachat de l'entreprise Castejac de Toulouse par le groupe américain Fielding. Benoît Castejac se rend à Paris pour négocier avec Morrison, le représentant du groupe. Ce dernier charge son directeur des relations publiques, Levêgue, de fournir une call-girl au PDG toulousain : il s'agit de rendre plus agréable son séjour et plus facile la négociation. Benoît rencontre Christine, qu'on lui présente comme la nièce de Levêgue, et en tombe amoureux. De retour à Toulouse, il doit faire face à une grève menée par Bastide, le délégué syndical et l'un des joueurs de l'équipe de rugby animée par Benoît. Lors d'un nouveau séjour à Paris, celui-ci apprend, de Levêgue la vérité. Il fait venir Christine, l'insulte, puis il la supplie de le suivre. Christine se moque de lui. À Toulouse, Françoise Castejac, jalouse, décide de coucher avec un envoyé de Morrison, puis de se séparer de Benoît. Celui-ci est seul, abandonné de tous. Un dernier espoir : Christine.

The plot is based around a successful, yet very shy painter Yann (Pierre Richard) who is in love with a married woman Florence (Fanny Cottençon). When he finally manages to have a date with her in his apartment, he has to face big problems. His neighbour Boris, another painter (and an artist maudit) who is extremely jealous towards his young wife Éva, leaves his flat without his suitcase, and when Éva, dressed only in lingerie, runs out of the door to let him know, a draft of air closes her door and she has to ask Yann for help. Unfortunately, that is just the moment when both Boris and Florence turn up. The story gets even more complicated as Florence's husband also comes to Yann's flat, and when Yann, when joking, mistakes a toy gun for a real one, and lightly injures Boris. But eventually all comes to a happy end.

François Perrin est un petit journaliste énonçant les nouvelles à l'antenne de RTL. Seul dans la vie, sa seule « distraction » est son voisin de palier qui lui tient la jambe de temps à autre.
