Add to a movie listManslaughter (Danish: Drabet) is a 2005 Danish film written and directed by Per Fly. The film stars Jesper Christensen, Beate Bille and Pernilla August as well as Fly's wife Charlotte Fich.
Manslaughter won the Nordic Council Film Prize in 2005, multiple awards at the 2006 Bodil Awards — including Best Actor, Best Film and Best Supporting actress — as well as being nominated for several other major film awards. Beate Bille also received a Shooting Star Award at the 2006 Berlin International Film Festival for her role in the film.
The film is part of a trilogy by Fly about the Danish society. Bænken is about the underclass, Arven about the upperclass and Drabet about the middleclass.
Synopsis
Carsten est un professeur d'université marié et père de famille. Il entretient une liaison amoureuse avec une de ses anciennes étudiantes, Pil, dont le militantisme d'extrême gauche lui rappelle sa propre jeunesse. Lorsqu'elle est accusée d'avoir tué un policier, il abandonne famille et carrière pour la défendre.Actors

Jeune homme idéaliste, Michael Sullivan décroche l'emploi de ses rêves : il devient coordinateur de l'opération Pétrole contre nourriture, un programme visant à satisfaire les besoins humanitaires du peuple irakien après la guerre du Golfe. Silvia Broome (Nicole Kidman) is an interpreter working at the United Nations in New York City. She was raised in the Republic of Matobo, a fictional African country, but has dual citizenship. One night, a thief fleeing through Georgetown in Washington, D.C., is shot by a man carrying a briefcase. A pizza delivery man who witnesses the incident is also shot by the killer and is left in a coma. The following morning, a young woman is killed by a Washington Metro train in what seems to be suicide. Congressman Stephen Collins (Ben Affleck) is distraught to hear that the woman was Sonia Baker (Maria Thayer), a lead researcher on his staff.
