Mary Christmas is a 2002 American Christmas movie written by Stanley M. Brooks and Betty G. Birney. It was directed jistars John Schneider. In the movie Joel Wallace, Schneider's character, is a widower raising a nine-year-old daughter Felice. In her Christmas letter to Santa Claus, Felice wishes for a new mommy for Christmas. The letter is intercepted by a local news producer who cancels reporter Mary Maloney's vacation and sends her to investigate the Wallace family as a human interest story. Most of the movie deals with Joel's searching for a new wife that will be Felice's mom. The ending takes a bit of a twist, though, when it turns out that Mary is Felice's birth mother who had given her up for adoption. The movie incorporates a little extra magic with "governor" Les Turner whom Felice thinks is Santa Claus.
Synopsis
Mary Maloney est journaliste à la télévision. Elle rêverait de présenter le 20 heures mais son patron ne fait aucun effort pour la promouvoir à ce poste. C'est la période de Noël et, cette année encore, il ne neigera pas en Californie. Comme tous les ans, Mary est chargée d'apprendre aux enfants à rédiger leur lettre au Père Noël. Mais Mac, le directeur adjoint, soucieux de faire rêver les spectateurs, suggère à Mary de lire le courrier des enfants. Il espère y trouver une histoire qui, en ce Noël caniculaire, sera un véritable conte et surtout fera remonter l'audience. Mary découvre ainsi qu'une petite fille du nom de Félicie a écrit au Père Noël pour lui demander une maman. Mac flaire l'audimat et envoie Mary en mission chez la petite fille qui vit avec son père.Actors

Sam Field (Eric McCormack) is a high-powered businessman and scion of a rich industrialist family with his own factory.
