Synopsis
Rudolf, bon vivant dans sa soixantaine en est convaincu. "La femme doit se battre pour toi, faire tous les efforts possibles. Très cher, quand une femme s'ennuie, c'est mauvais signe." Il a appliqué sa théorie durant des années, et la naïveté de son beau fils Ondrej, qui met tout en œuvre pour être un époux prévenant, ne fait que l'exaspérer. Qui plus est, cette prévenance l'empêche de voir que sa femme Alice s'ennuie. Rudolf décide alors de donner quelques conseils à Ondrej pour redonner vie à son mariage. Seoul, the present day. In need of money to redeem a treasured family portrait, struggling manhwa artist Jeong Bae takes part in a publishing company's competition for an adult manga with a prize of ₩130 million (US$100,000). Advised that his big weakness is his story-writing, Jeong Bae advertises for a professional writer and ends up hiring the self-important Han Da-rim, with whom he agrees to split the prize money 50-50 if they win. Unknown to Jeong Bae, Da-rim recently lost her job as a sex columnist at magazine Hot Girl — edited by her friend Ma Kyung-sun — where she compensated for her lack of experience with men by copying material from the Kama Sutra to the Kinsey Reports. For the manhwa competition, Da-rim comes up with the idea of a female assassin, Ma Mi-so, who keeps her male victims captive for erotic kicks; without telling Jeong Bae, she models the victim on her twin brother, womanising Han Jong-soo, who shares a flat with her and cannot wait for her to move out. She finally does, which leads Jeong Bae's friend (and fellow competitor) Hae-ryong, who has secretly bugged his flat, to believe they're having an affair. However, from her unrealistic sex scenes, Jeong Bae gradually comes to suspect that Da-rim has never actually "done it", and then realizes she's developed a crush on him.

The film begins as Marcus (Eddie Murphy) enters Chantress, the company that he works for as an advertisement executive. It is quickly established that he is quite the ladies' man, as he tells his assistant to send flowers to nine different women, with cards reading "only thinking of you." When he enters his office, Nelson (Geoffrey Holder), one of the creative minds also in Marcus' department, shows Marcus a re-cut he's done of one of the ads they've been working on. Marcus tells Nelson, who's very creative but also very risqué and overtly sexual with his style, that he must re-edit the ad, as some of the material may be offensive to women and may also cause problems with the U.S. Federal Communications Commission. Nelson reluctantly agrees, then leaves.

François (Bernard Campan) is a bored office worker with health problems. He visits a brothel and claiming to have won the lottery and millions of euros, he propositions Daniela (Monica Bellucci), one of the prostitutes to live with him for the sum of 100,000 euros a month until his money runs out. She accepts. François' first doctor, André, is worried that Daniela's volcanic sexuality will cause François' heart to give out. The next day she takes François to beach and he loves that fresh air. They both starts running with hands wide out and cheering in joy. Then they both involve in sex inside François's car. That night André inquires them and finds their sexual activity that evening. Then André gives a moving speech about an idealistic and unrequited love he has for a nurse who later became his patient. Later, when Daniela suffers food poisoning and André is summoned to treat her, when she undresses he suffers a stroke and dies. At the funeral, François learns that André's nurse/patient/girlfriend had died some years before. The arrangement between Daniela and François seems to work for a little while until Daniela's former lover, Charly (Gérard Depardieu) demands money to allow the relationship to continue. François refuses and Daniela resumes being with Charly. While Daniela is having sex with Charly, she realizes she has really fallen in love with François who has meanwhile, started an affair with his next-door neighbor. The film concludes with a surreal pastiche of fantasy and conjecture which begins with François admitting that he never won the lottery.
