Mr Joe B. Carvalho is a Bollywood comedy film which released on 3 January 2014. The film is directed by Samir Tewari, and produced by Shital Malviya and Bhola Ram Malviya (Arshad Warsi's long standing secretary). The film stars Arshad Warsi, Soha Ali Khan, Javed Jaffrey and Vijay Raaz. The first teaser of the film was released on 17 November 2013. The film also has guest appearances by Geeta Basra and Karishma Kotak. Singer Babul Supriyo debuts in the film by playing a cameo.
Synopsis
Mr Joe B. Carvalho (Arshad Warsi) is your (slightly below) average corny-go-lucky private eye in the quest for a truly challenging case that can bring in money and fame and change his fortunes for good. A moneyed Khurana (Shakti Kapoor) hands him a case to find his eloped daughter.Actors

Mumbai-based collegian-slackers Sid(Arshad Warsi), John (Aashish Chaudhary) and Amit(Yash Tonk) do graduate after several years, are unable to find employment, and form a Punjabi Rock Band with the help of a gangster, Munnabhai(Ashish Vidhyarthi). Khalujan (Naseeruddin Shah) and his nephew Babban (Arshad Warsi), a thief duo, pose as a Nawab and his attendant, and manage to run away with a prized necklace from a jewellery shop. In the police chase they get separated, while Khalujaan is hurt. Months later Babban traces Khalujan again, this time posing a nawab, at a poetry contest. It is a mushaira organised by Begum Para (Madhuri Dixit), the widowed Begum of Mahmudabad as per the wishes of her deceased husband. Daal Mein Kuch Kaala Hai is a tale of a budding actress (Veena Malik) who is over motivated to become a successful in Bollywood. The stage is set for his re-marriage. She appears on the scene. She wants the child back. Confrontation, She says she cannot live without the child. He says if she cannot live without her 15-days-old child then why did she want to separate his mother from her child. She realises her mistake.
