Synopsis
Au Liban, Après la bataille de Kfar Chouba, en janvier 1975, Larbi Nasri, un jeune journaliste algérien, est pris dans le tourbillon des évènements qui précèdent la guerre civile. Lié à Maha, Hind, Raouf et Michel qui entourent Nahla, il assiste à la construction du mythe de Nahla, une chanteuse adulée par la population arabe. Un jour Nahla perd sa voix sur scène. L’atmosphère de crise qui règne autour d’elle, gagne comme une infection. Larbi, fasciné, perd pied et s’enlise.Actors

Dans un petit village, entre Rome et Naples, les Alliés sont sur le point de faire leur entrée triomphale. Mario Venicio, maire nommé par les fascistes, pense à la libération et juge plus prudent de confier sa difficile place à son ami d'enfance Attilio Capellaro, antifasciste notoire dont le fils est fiancé à sa fille Aurora. D'abord réticent, Attilio finit par se laisser convaincre. Malgré tout, il semble que les Alliés soient encore bien loin et Crippa, le représentant du Fascio, envoie en avant le fils de Cappellaro (qui est dans la vraie vie le fils de l'acteur français) et fait savoir qu'il a convoqué une bande de chemises noires pour rétablir l'ordre. Cappellaro fait en sorte que son fils reste dans le village en le cachant dans la cave, mais pendant la nuit Crippa est assassiné.

Ramdev Bakshi (Dev Anand) is a peaceful, quiet man who is only interested in wildlife and nature. He is sent then to the Indo-Chinese border in the army by his father, a war hero. Here he refuses to lift his gun and attack. He is then court-martialled. Later he is captured by the Chinese and humiliated, but when a beautiful Chinese agent promises him a better future by working and spying for her (against India), he agrees but foils their wicked plans by spying over them. Later the Indo-Pakistani War of 1965 breaks out. He joins in the action to show what he is made of by killing Pakistani soldiers hiding in the bushes in an Indian village in the Khemkaran sector.

The film focuses on various guests staying at New York City's famed Waldorf-Astoria Hotel.
