Synopsis
Des explorateurs en expédition s'aventurent trop loin dans la forêt amazonienne et tombent entre les mains d'une tribu isolée de cannibales qui s'empare d'eux. Le groupe comprend également la fille d'un sénateur américain ; elle réussit à contacter son père qui envoie dans la jungle un groupe de soldats expérimentés pour tenter de sauver les malheureux. Mais dans l'enfer de la jungle ce sont maintenant les soldats qui sont en danger : leurs armes en effet se révèlent insuffisantes pour faire face aux cannibales. L'horreur la plus atroce a commencé pour affronter ces indigènes anthropophages.Comments

The coastal town of Hampton Bay is threatened when a 35-foot great white shark starts chomping up their vacationers. Days before the annual Regatta celebration, the townspeople are faced with financial ruin if something isn't done about their newfound shark problem. The film takes place along a stretch of coastline somewhere in Florida in the United States, where a local tourist spot has become plagued by a mysterious marine creature. Little do they know, the monster is the product of a secret military experiment — a genetic hybrid mutated from a common octopus and the prehistoric super-predator Dunkleosteus. Unfortunately, the creature has broken loose, and is now feeding on swimmers and tourists swimming or sailing along the coast. Also, the monster is only an infant, and will continue to grow if it is left to hunt much longer.

Major Murphy Black (Reb Brown) leads a group of commandos through the jungles of an unnamed island, but unknown to all involved but Mascher (Mel Davidson), they are being stalked by Mascher's robot invention, Omega-1. Over the protests of Mascher, the group first saves a volunteer hospital worker, Virginia (Catherine Hickland), from a band of guerrillas, then take out the hospital camp, killing all the guerrillas there, also. At this point, the robot begins killing members of the commando group, one by one. That night, Mascher admits to Murphy that he created Omega-1, that it was acting sporadically, and that he was there to check out the match-up between the decorated Murphy and Omega-1.
