The film was written as a star vehicle for Whip Wilson, who portrayed himself in the film. The plot of the film involves Whip saving a town from a corrupt Sheriff and his goons. Synopsis

De mystérieux hors la loi masqués "visitent" les ranches la nuit sans jamais rien emporter. Ils semblent chercher quelque chose de précis. Les ranchers font appel aux shérifs Whip Wilson et Jim Dugan pour résoudre cette affaire.

A geologist, Walter Garfield (LeRoy Mason, discovers oil on land owned by Ben Taylor (Jack Kirk). Believing that the deposits extend to the surrounding ranches as well, Garfield wires his company that oil may be present and then teams up with Red Ryder’s arch enemy, Ace Hanlon (Glenn Strange) .
