Ojarumaru the Movie: The Promised Summer - Ojaru and Semira (映画おじゃる丸 約束の夏 おじゃるとせみら, Eiga Ojarumaru: Yakusoku no Natsu - Ojaru to Semira) is a short film in the Ojarumaru anime series that was released in Japan on July 15, 2000. The film was shown in conjunction with Mon Colle Knights the Movie: The Legendary Fire Dragon and The Mysterious Tatari-chan.
Synopsis
The short film introduces Semira, a strange boy who comes to play with Ojarumaru and his chums and bears a marked resemblance to a boy of the same name who spent a summer with the village elders when they were boys, long ago.Actors

Un jour, alors qu'ils sont chez eux, Sangoku et Sangohan s'aperçoivent que toute la végétation est en train de mourir sans raison aucune. The Digital World have become so overpopulated that the super computer, Yggdrasil, that governed the Digital World could no longer handle it. His solution was to destroy the majority of Digimon with the X-Program. A very small percentage were to be moved to a new Digital World as he planned to destroy the old. Those who had not been chosen but were able to escape into the new world obtained a rare gift known as X-Antibody, a substance once activated alters the appearance and strength of the digimon. The Royal Knights are thus ordered by Yggdrasil for these digimon to be eliminated.

The film is an adaptation of a story in Chinese mythology (in particular, the epic fantasy novel Fengshen Bang) about the warrior deity Nezha, who became a student of the immortal Taiyi Zhenren. The main part of the story revolves around Nezha's feud with Ao Guang, the Dragon King of the Eastern Sea, whom he angers through the killing of Ao Bing, Ao Guang's third son. Through bravery and wit, Nezha finally breaks into the Dragon King's underwater palace and successfully defeats him.

While looking at the Dragon Radar, Oolong notices that all of the Dragon Balls are starting to be gathered together. He and Gohan, who were also searching for the Dragon Balls, head out to investigate and end up at the Tsurumai-Tsuburi Mountains’ eternal wall of ice, where coincidentally, Piccolo is also training. Dr. Kochin summons Shenron and wishes for Dr. Wheelo’s lab to be released from the ice. The ice begins to break away and a building emerges. Gohan and Oolong look on in disbelief, when they are suddenly attacked by Dr. Kochin’s Biomen. Piccolo shows up to save Gohan, but is overcome by three mysterious fighters, while Gohan and Oolong escape.

A few years prior, the tyrant Frieza destroyed the Planet Namek during his battle with the newly transformed Super Saiyan Goku. The peaceful Namekians found themselves without a home for months. Eventually they had a new planet created for them with the help of the Dragon Balls. For three years or so they lived in peace on their new planet. One day however, a strange metal planet began to absorb New Namek. The silver planet wrapped around New Namek, absorbing its energy. Dende, who is now the Earth's guardian, senses the plight of his people and calls Goku to ask for help.
