OSS 117 : Alerte rouge en Afrique noire est un film français réalisé par Nicolas Bedos, dont la sortie est prévue en février 2021.
Il s'agit du troisième volet de la saga, après OSS 117 : Le Caire, nid d'espions sorti en 2006 et OSS 117 : Rio ne répond plus en 2009, tous les deux réalisés par Michel Hazanavicius.
C'est une adaptation très libre de la série littéraire OSS 117 de la famille Bruce, où le héros est américain d'origine française et travaille pour l'Office of Strategic Services. Ce film, plus qu'un film d'action ou d'espionnage, a vocation à être un film humoristique, tournant en dérision le personnage principal qui se révèle orgueilleux, prétentieux et surtout bourré de préjugés misogynes, racistes, homophobes ou xénophobes. Jean Dujardin joue ce rôle de parodie d'un espion du genre de James Bond. Le personnage qu'il incarne peut s'avérer désagréable, montrant beaucoup de failles, mais attendrissant aussi.

The film opens with a ski chalet party sequence in Gstaad where Hubert Bonisseur de La Bath aka OSS 117 is entertaining a Chinese countess. The party is attacked by Red Chinese gunmen working for a Mr. Lee and everyone but Hubert and the Countess are killed. Returning to SDECE headquarters, Hubert is assigned to deliver a blackmail payment of 50,000 new Francs to Professor Von Zimmel, a Nazi who escaped to South America and has a microfilm list of French Nazi sympathizers.

The main plot starts with the disappearances of an OSS agent, Jack Jefferson, and a Soviet cargo ship in Cairo. Agent OSS 117 is sent to investigate the events, since he and agent Jefferson share a history, shown in a short opening sequence and in flashbacks throughout the film. OSS 117 stumbles into a web of international intrigue, that involves the French, the Soviets, the British, separate factions of Egyptians, a goofy Belgian spy and even a splinter group of the Nazis from the beginning.

A Russian organized crime group takes possession of an advanced bio-chemical weapon from Korea with the help of a corrupt Korean scientist, and two special agents are the world's only hope to stop them. The movie opens at Munich's Oktoberfest. Kendig and his team foil a microfilm transfer to an East German spy. However, they purposely do not apprehend Yaskov. Kendig is summoned to Washington, where his supervisor, Myerson (Beatty), is forcing Kendig into semi-retirement and a desk job because Kendig didn't arrest the Russian. Kendig resists, claiming to be "a field man", and, on his own initiative, takes leave, shredding his file en route. It is days before that is discovered. He goes to Salzburg, Austria to "hear some Mozart" and visit an old friend, Isobel Von Schoenenberg (Jackson). It is here that he seizes on the idea of writing a book exposing all the 'dirty tricks' of the CIA, KGB and other 'spy agencies'. Isobel is horrified to read the first chapter and tells Kendig that they'll all come after him to kill him. Nevertheless, he mails copies of the chapters to the various spy chiefs in the US, Russia, China, France and Great Britain. Soon enough, Myerson and Yaskov are after him, just as he wanted.
