Prasad is a 2012 Indian Kannada language family drama film directed by Manoj Sati and produced by Ashok Kheny, won the best film state award. The film stars Arjun Sarja who won the Karnataka State Award 2012 for the Best Actor category and Madhuri Bhattacharya in the lead roles. The film's music is scored by Meastro Ilaiyaraja. The film is simultaneously made in Tamil and Telugu languages. The dance choreographer for the movie was Shiamak Davar.
The film released across the Karnataka cinema halls on the auspicious Ugadi festival day on 23 March 2012.
