The film is presented by R. B. Choudary's Super Good Films and the music was composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar. The film is about a man who loses his motorbike to the local goons and goes on a long struggle to get it back from them. The film is a remake of Tamil blockbuster film Polladhavan (2007) directed by Vetrimaaran and starred Dhanush and Divya Spandana in the lead roles.
The film upon release met average critical response at the box-office.

'Anal' Murugan (Vikram) a gym boy who dreams of becoming a successful villain in films lives along with Thambi Ramaiah and his gym co-boys. He bumps into an old man Dakshinamoorthy (K. Vishwanath) who is under pressure from his son Chidambaram (Avinash) to sell his orphanage to a scheming lady politician Ranganayaki (Sana) who is majorly into land grabbing along with her hatchet man 'Vaappa' Abdul Kadhir (Pradeep Rawat). Murugan eventually falls in love with Dharshini (Deeksha Seth). The one-man army Murugan becomes the Dakshinamoorthy’s saviour as Ranganayaki and her men are after them. How Murugan single-handedly fights the powerful politician and brings them to light forms the rest of the story.

Guru (Yogesh), an unemployed youth is a carefree guy. He meets Priya (Aindrita) in a temple and instantly falls for her. Arvind who came to the city from a rural area, is a naive employee in a company. He cannot tolerate corruption, bribert, breaking rules, lavishness and the urban culture of youth in cities. He is caught by traffic police for a minor mistake through not of his own. Although he has all documents with him, he is asked a bribe by traffic policeman. Surya (Darshan) and Vidya (Reema Vohra) are orphan siblings who are mistreated by the local goons. They are left to earn their living by begging on the streets. Shiva (Githan Ramesh) is the only son of a rich businessman (Avinash). He grows up surrounded by money and he is not cared for by his parents, due to his mother dying when he was a young boy and his father is business-minded and only cares about his money. Shiva and his friends are a playful bunch, they do not study and they mainly do lots of sport. Priya (Saloni), who also goes to the college (the college was created and run by Shiva's family) that Shiva goes to, is the daughter of a cow herder and a gangster Mayandi (Lal). Priya keeps her distance from Shiva, but as the film progresses it is inevitable that they become friends. Their friendship then develops into romance, but this love is opposed by both their parents. Both their parents try to separate them, they try to get them married of to different people. They eventually run away together, and a hit man is after Priya's life (hired by Shiva's father). In a confrontation with the hit-man Shiva gets wounded and defeats the hit-man, he then storms into his father's office and throws the hit-man at him. He then informs his father of his wedding in front of the district court. His father turns up with a large battalion of police officers, while Shiva turns up with a much large number of students. The film ends with their wedding successfully happening, and Mayandi gives his blessings.
