Pyar Jhukta Nahin (Love Does not Bow Down) is a 1985 Hindi-language Indian feature film directed by Vijay Sadanah and a copy of super hit Pakistani film Aina (1977 film), starring Mithun Chakraborty, Padmini Kolhapure, Danny Denzongpa, Asrani and Bindu. Laxmikant-Pyarelal were nominated for Filmfare Award for Best Music Director.
Synopsis
Preeti (Padmini Kolhapure) is a rich girl who falls in love with a middle class photographer Ajay (Mithun Chakraborty). Her parents initially disagree for the marriage but the daughter manages to make them ready for the marriage. Preeti's father Bhanu (Danny Dengzongpa) makes Ajay a top class photographer and his salary gets an increment. Later Ajay discovers that Bhanu has made his promotion and this has hurt his self-respect. Preeti and Ajay separate.Actors

Vijay Choudhury lives with his wife, Laxmi, and step-brother, Ravi. Even after several years of being married, Vijay and Laxmi have no children. So Laxmi is taunted for her supposed barrenness by her fellow villagers, even though Vijay is the headman of the village. Ravi falls in love with Lalita, daughter of Milawatram and Bandharlekha. They get married and Lalita proves to be an ideal sister-in-law for Laxmi and Vijay. Soon, both Lalita and Laxmi get pregnant and give birth at the same time. However, the family goes through a traumatic experience as only one of the babies survives. What happens next forms the climax of the film.

Malati (Rati Agnihotri), a young girl from a middle-class family meets Suresh Ray (Mithun Chakraborty), who is the son of a well-known lawyer Dayashankar Ray (Danny Denzongpa). After dating each other for some time, she finds that she is pregnant. When Suresh refuses to marry Malati, and she decides against aborting the baby, her parents throw her out and disown her. Left alone, she decides to take Suresh to court. She is supported in this fight by Shakuntala (Rekha), a lawyer who works for woman's rights, who also has an illegitimate daughter from Dayashankar Ray. The case gets much publicity and public support, and the judge rules in Malati's favor. At this point however, Malati refuses to marry Suresh and decides to raise the child on her own. In the meantime, Shakuntala dies of a heart attack, and Malati promises her to take care of her daughter, and carry on Shakuntala's work.

Bharti, a law student, lives with her widower and blind dad. Ravi Shankar Singh is a singer and dancer; Bharti is a fan of him and never misses his music concerts. One day Bharti is shocked to see Ravi being arrested by the police. She finds out that Ravi has confessed to the killing of a man, Rana Singh, and will soon be hanged. Bharti attends Ravi's last concert, but Ravi abducts her and forcibly marries her. After the marriage, Ravi is arrested and appears in court. It is revealed that Ravi and Bharti had conspired together to overturn Ravi's death penalty to life imprisonment, but the court is still not convinced and upholds Ravi's death penalty. Ravi's innocence or guilt is revealed in the climax.

Karan Singh lives a wealthy lifestyle in a palace along with his widowed mother, an elder brother, Shamsher, his wife and daughter. Vijay (Shashi Kapoor) is an engineer, who is in love with a rich girl named Rekha (Mumtaz). Rekha's father and the politician frame Vijay for a crime that he didn't commit, and he goes to jail. When he's in jail, he becomes friends with three other prisoners. All four men escape from jail. After Vijay reconnects with Rekha, they all go to a small village called Shantinagar and help save the village from the evil politician and the bandits that terrorize the town. The evil politician is arrested. Rekha's father feels remorse and accepts Vijay. Vijay and his three prisoner friends go back to jail. However, the film ends on an optimistic tone indicating that their good deeds will be rewarded (i.e. that their prison sentences will be shortened).
