It stars Joseph Bologna, Tom Bosley, Renée Taylor, Connie Stevens, and Joshua Fishbein and was shot almost entirely on Fire Island, off the coast of Long Island, NY. It is the story of a former professional baseball player who discovers a second chance at life and love on the island. The film opened in theaters in New York, Los Angeles, and Massachusetts in 2003, and was released by Pathfinder Home Entertainment on DVD in 2006.
Returning Mickey Stern was the first film ever to have four of its stars chosen by the worldwide Internet audience. Through the CastOurMovie web portal, web users could view audition video, peruse headshots and resumes, and discuss their opinions about the actors. The web site garnered the attention of Time Magazine, Entertainment Weekly, Industry Standard, the U.S. News and World Report, and many other media outlets. Two million people participated in the online voting, and the winners were: Kylie Delre, Michael Oberlander, Sarah Schoenberg, and John Sloan.
Synopsis
Mickey Stern is signed by the New York Yankees to play baseball out of high school. He also falls in love with an older woman, Leah, but his professional and personal lives are disrupted by the Korean War.Actors

Love Is All There Is is a modern retelling of the Romeo and Juliet story. It is set in the Bronx during the 1990s. The Cappamezzas (Lainie Kazan and Joseph Bologna), Bronx-born Sicilians, own a local catering business. They develop a bitter rivalry with the pretentious Malacicis (Paul Sorvino and Barbara Carrera), recent immigrants from Florence and owners of a fine Italian restaurant.

Giggy Panimba meets Pandora Gold at a group therapy session on Christmas Eve. We learn that Pandora is there on her 4th emergency session, trying to give up her "symptom" as a failure at everything. We also learn Pandora lived in the Bronx with her Jewish eccentric mother and her philandering father. Pandora's mother was very involved in Pandora's life because her husband was always out with other women and barely paid attention to Pandora. Pandora's mother believes in astrology and often comments to Pandora throughout the whole movie "I made you a Pisces and don't you ever forget it". From a young age Pandora wanted to be a famous movie actress often imitating Rita Hayworth. She grew up and became an interpretive modern dancer and a Jackpot Quiz Clue Girl but gave up both professions to go live in England with her latest boyfriend. When she arrived home early to surprise him, she found him in bed with two other women. She now is making her comeback as a performer at a night club and invites everyone in the session to come and see her. It's Giggy's turn and we learn that he lived in Brooklyn with his Italian mother and father. His father was a barber and often got into fights claiming he "had a little score to settle" and his mother had unrealistic religious beliefs about love. From that, Giggy became a womanizer even getting kicked out of the seminary for having sex in a utility closet. As an adult he had various philanderings with women and we learn the reason he is at the session is because after breaking up with a girl, she tried to kill herself.

Kathy Morrison (Harris), mother of three, who helps run a "color-blind" adoption program, wants to have another biological child.
