Synopsis
Allemagne, de nos jours. Le professeur Bachmann a disparu. Il était à la recherche de la Lance sacrée, qui d'après la Légende, aurait percé le corps du Christ sur la Croix. Des pouvoirs d'invincibilité lui sont également attachés. L'archéologue Erik Meiers décide de partir à la recherche du Professeur, accompagné de sa fiancée Katharine et de Justus, restaurateur d’œuvres d'art. Ils ont aussi à leurs trousses un terrible baron qui rêve de s'emparer de la Lance pour réaliser de sombres projets.Actors

Depuis la fin de la Seconde Guerre mondiale, la chambre d'ambre du Château de Königsberg a disparu, prétendument détruite dans un bombardement. C'est la plus précieuse relique du XX siècle. Elle renfermerait également les dernières graines viables d'une plante autrement disparue depuis deux mille ans et qui aurait la capacité de soigner toutes les blessures et les maladies, le silphium. Elle pourrait donc sauver des millions de vies, ou, dans de mauvaises mains, prolonger infiniment des guerres en rendant des armées invulnérables. C'est pour cela qu'Albert Einstein a subtilisé la chambre d'ambre et son contenu aux Nazis qui avaient découvert son secret. La petite fille de ce dernier, Mila, s'associe au groupe d'aventuriers mené par le professeur Erik Meiers pour retrouver la chambre. Très vite, ils sont pris en chasse par des mercenaires au service d'un groupe pharmaceutique.

Allemagne, de nos jours. Jeune archéologue, Erik Meiers est obsédé par la découverte du Trésor des Nibelungen, qui aurait été trouvé puis caché à nouveau par Charlemagne au Moyen-Age. In 2010, during a party at the US embassy in Berlin, Germany, scientist Gregor Starndorf is told that the comet he discovered, designated Bay-Leder 7, is headed towards Earth. It is large enough to cause an extinction level event and is only days away. He develops a satellite weapon called SolStar-2, which is moderately successful against the comet: the microwave beam cut Bay-Leder 7 in two, but the smaller part impacts in western Russia. The head of US embassy security, Captain Tom Parker picks up his family so they can be evacuated by plane. However, his superior, Colonel Waters, forces Parker to leave them behind, watching helplessly as the plane took off. News reports depict the after effects of the impact.
