The Brigand of Kandahar is a 1965 British adventure film directed by John Gilling and starring Ronald Lewis, Oliver Reed and Duncan Lamont. A mixed-race British officer is thrown out of his regiment when he is accused of cowardice in action. He then joins some tribesmen rebelling against the British. It was one of a number of films made during the era that had native rebels as their heroes. It was filmed with extensive footage from Zarak.

Synopsis
Indes, 1850. Le Fort de Kandahar est la constante cible d'attaques de rebelles en révolte contre L'Empire britannique. Sous le commandement d'Ali Khan, ces hommes tuent des soldats et pillent les villages avoisinants ainsi que tous ceux qui sont loyaux à la couronne. Le Lieutenant Case qui fait partie de la garnison est aussi un natif mais il est pris en grippe par les autres officiers qui sont jaloux de son succès sur le terrain. Lors d'une mission d'infiltration des rebelles, Case est malheureusement découvert par les espions rebelles et sa tête est mise à prix. Le Capitaine Connelly parti en mission avec le lieutenant est aussi capturé. De retour au Fort, Case est accusé de trahison pour avoir laissé son compatriote se faire capturer par l'ennemi.Actors

A group of flight cadets arrive at RAF Cranwell to begin a three-year training course to become RAF pilots. Woodrow "Woody" Wilkins is an imaginative, yet eccentric, comic book writer and illustrator who demands a sense of realism for his comic book hero "Condorman", to the point where he crafts a Condorman flying suit of his own and launches himself off the Eiffel Tower. The test flight fails as his right wing breaks, sending him crashing into the Seine River. Later after the incident, Woody is asked by his friend, CIA file clerk Harry, to perform what appears to be a civilian paper swap in Istanbul. Upon arriving in Istanbul, he meets a beautiful Soviet named Natalia Rambova, who poses as the Soviet civilian with whom the exchange is supposed to take place, but it is later revealed that she is in fact a KGB spy. Woody does not tell Natalia his real name, and instead fabricates his identity to her as a top American agent code-named "Condorman". During the encounter, Woody fends off a group of would-be assassins and saves her life by sheer luck before accomplishing the paper trade. Impressed by Woody, and disgusted by how she was treated by her lover/boss Krokov when she returns to Moscow, Natalia decides to defect and asks the CIA to have "Condorman" be the agent that helps her.

The film begins with a narrator telling us that Cromwell's tyranny is coming to an end, when we see several men approaching on horseback. We learn that King Charles II and several of his Cavaliers have been on an exploratory tour in England, checking to see if the populace is ready to back his return. At the moment he is being hounded by a troop of Roundheads. King Charles stops to bid one of his supporters, a Royalist Lord Lucius Vyne (Hugh Grant) who he gives one of his favorite rings, telling Lucius to send it if he ever needs his help. Taking the ring Lucius borrows the King's distinctive plumed hat and leads the King's pursuers away, allowing Charles and Lucius' cousin, Lord Richard Vyne to reach a waiting boat bound for France. Lucius manages to lose the Roundheads in a cavernous entrance of a quarried chalk cliff face.

Stephen "Hannibal" Brooks is a British prisoner of war officer put to work in a Munich zoo, looking after an Asian elephant called Lucy.
