Synopsis
Attorney Phillip Reed is tired of one-night stands. He then meets a woman at the zoo, Gloria, who is getting married the next week. When she meets Phillip, she lies to him and tells him her name is Marsha Lyons. The two hit it off right, away and Gloria/Marsha tells Phillip she'll call him. Gloria/Marsha doesn't plan on ever calling him back, but when she calls her soon-to-be groom and a woman whom he presumably slept with answers, Gloria/Marsha decides to call Phillip. She asks him to go to Mexico with her, and the two have an adventure getting there when the car they rented breaks down and catches fire. Then they hitch a ride with some local farm workers. Finally, they make it to a beautiful home that is owned by Gloria/Marsha's parents. They have a blast in Mexico, dining and dancing, eventually winding up in bed together. The next morning Phillip gets up looking for Gloria/Marsha who's already left. Phillip finds out via a videotape explanation left by Gloria/Marsha that she's getting married tomorrow and that he was supposed to be her last fling. Phillip then tries to find her. When he finally does, he tries to stop the wedding and convince Gloria that they belong together. In the end, Gloria leaves her groom at the altar, and she and Phillip go for a walk in the zoo where they first met.Actors

The mysterious owner of a New York costume store (Astaire) sells Santa suits to three different men. He later shows up in various roles to help the men change their lives. (chauffeur, policeman, jeweler, hot dog vendor, taxi driver, floor walker, and choral director) Bob Willis (Burghoff) is a math teacher who is madly in love with a young fashion model and prominent figure in the disco scene, Polly Primer (Buckman). Polly, however, is already engaged to marry wealthy and handsome Rod Sanborn (Greenan). He hopes to impress her by showing up in a santa suit, but withdraws when he learns of Rod's marriage proposal to her. The film tells the story of widowed father Jeffrey Wilder (Scott Bakula), who works as a cab driver, and his son Eric (Joey Cramer), as they are unexpectedly hurled into the adventure of a lifetime. When a NASA truck carrying a space canister crashes near their home, Jeffrey and Eric rush inside the wrecked vehicle to recover the helpless driver and a few scientists. However, near the end of the rescue, the truck violently explodes, and Jeffrey is rushed to the hospital, 90% of his body covered in second- and third-degree burns. Alex Whitman (Matthew Perry) is an architect from New York City who is sent to Las Vegas to supervise the construction of a nightclub that his firm has been hired to build. Alex is a strait-laced WASP-ish type who, while enjoying a night on the town, meets Isabel Fuentes (Salma Hayek), a free-spirited Mexican-American photographer. Alex and Isabel are overtaken by lust at first sight and end up spending the night together; however, their immediate attraction doesn't last in the cold light of day, and they don't see each other for another three months. When they do meet again, it's because Isabel has some interesting news for Alex: She's pregnant with his child. The film begins with an animated introduction featuring a plane heading toward "the Heart of Africa" (more specifically, a region called "Bukuvu"). The plane crashes and George, an infant/toddler, is lost, but enjoys vine swinging and crashing into trees as a running gag. 25 years later, George (Brendan Fraser) has grown into a Tarzan-like man, the "King of the Jungle", who makes his home around Ape mountain. His friends include a sophisticated talking gorilla named Ape (voiced by John Cleese), along with a toco toucan named Tookie, a small capuchin monkey named Little Monkey, and an African elephant named Shep, whom he calls his "dog" (all voiced by Frank Welker).
