The Old Man and the Sea is a 1990 television miniseries based on the novel The Old Man and the Sea by Ernest Hemingway. The film was nominated for three Emmy Awards for Outstanding Achievement in Music for a Miniseries or a Special (Dramatic Underscore), Outstanding Sound Editing for a Miniseries for a Special, and Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Drama Miniseries or Special. Stephen Grubbs also won the Motion Picture Sound Editors Golden Reel Award for Best Sound Editing in Television Long Form - Dialogue & ADR

Synopsis

Basé sur le roman de Ernest Hemingway . Santiago sort lors de son voyage de pêche habituelle et fait une énorme prise, le plus grand de sa vie. Puis une attaque de requin et tente de voler sa capture. Santiago batailles avec les requins pendant des jours. Il retourne au rivage battu, en lambeaux, et sa prise constituée maintenant de la plupart des os.

Inspired by true events, the plot takes place in 1951 and revolves around Mr. Caulfield, the owner of a coal mine. During Christmas, there are several explosions.
