The Outcasts of Poker Flat is a 1952 American Western film directed by Joseph M. Newman starring Anne Baxter, Dale Robertson and Miriam Hopkins. The screenplay is based on a short story of the same name by Bret Harte. A murderous western outlaw (Mitchell), his wife (Baxter), a disgraced gambler (Robertson) and a faded dance hall floozie (Hopkins) and a few other socially undesirable characters are trapped in a snowbound mountain cabin. As the chances for rescue fade, the true natures of the cabin's occupants rise to the surface.
