Synopsis
Rubin a toujours occupé la première place dans la vie de sa sœur, Leah. Depuis qu'ils sont petits, celle-ci prend soin de son frère, le protégeant de leur sévère beau-père. Un après-midi, sur une route de campagne en Floride, Rubin meurt, victime d'un accident de voiture. Après cette catastrophe, Leah, désespérée, est déterminée à supprimer toutes les personnes qu'elle considère responsables de cette tragédie.Actors

Connie connaît le bonheur avec son mari Tom et leurs deux filles, jusqu'à ce que d'affreux cauchemars viennent la hanter : nuit après nuit, elle se voit victime de viol. À la suite d'un malaise, elle consulte un médecin qui lui apprend qu'elle est enceinte de deux mois. Connie est d'autant plus étonnée que Tom a subi une vasectomie. Elle essaye donc de comprendre et finit par se persuader qu'elle a été violée. Elle se souvient alors avoir été soignée chez le dentiste Roger Nolton, sous anesthésie générale. Interrogé par la police, il avoue avoir eu une liaison avec Connie et donne une conférence de presse au cours de laquelle il affirme avoir rompu avec elle en raison de son instabilité. Tom ne comprend pas le refus de Connie d'avorter, aussi prend-il du recul. Mais une ancienne actrice de films pornos lui avoue avoir été violée deux ans auparavant par Nolton[.

Chris McCormick (Margaux Hemingway) is a highly paid fashion model whose image serves as the driving force of the ad campaign for a popular brand of lipstick and can be seen in magazines and on billboards all around the world. Gordon Stuart (Chris Sarandon), a part-time composer and full-time music teacher, eagerly accepts Chris's 13-year-old sister Kathy's (Mariel Hemingway) invitation to come to a secluded beachside photo shoot, so Chris can listen to some of his music. Seventeen-year-old Bianca Miller (Nicole Gale Anderson) has just found out that her boyfriend cheated on her with Dory Holland. Her friends Fallyn Werner (Janet Montgomery) and Sarah Patterson (Stella Maeve) suggest that the three of them teach Dory a lesson. Fallyn and Sarah go to Dory's house and claim they want to take her to a party with college boys and she agrees to come with them. However, the girls drive Dory to a remote location, where she and Bianca get into a fight. Later on, Bianca gets in her car and leaves. Fallyn and Sarah threaten Dory by saying they will make her life a living hell if she tells anyone what they did. As they are walking away from her, Dory throws a rock that hits Fallyn's back. Enraged, Fallyn leaps at Dory and attacks her, killing her in the process by smashing her head with a rock. Horrified, Sarah tries to call 9-1-1 but Fallyn stops her, saying she will take care of it and that everything will be okay.
