The film has been released on DVD in the United States on January 27, 2009. The English dub of the film features Jim Conroy as the voice of the Magic Gourd & Jake T. Austin as the voice of Rayman.
Synopsis
Thomas Bao est un jeune collégien un peu tête en l'air, qui se rêverait une grande star, mais qui n'a pas trop de courage pour mener à terme ses ambitieux projets. Un jour de pêche, plutôt que de faire ses devoirs, il se prend à souhaiter réussir sans avoir trop à se fouler. C'est à ce moment qu'il va trouver une gourde magique, une sorte de Djinn bienfaisant, qui va tenter de réaliser tous ses vœux les plus chers. Mais les petits miracles vont pour la plupart se retourner contre lui, jusqu'à provoquer toute une série de véritables catastrophes...Actors

The entire Russo family—Alex (Selena Gomez), Justin (David Henrie), Max (Jake T. Austin), and their parents Jerry (David DeLuise) and Theresa (María Canals Barrera)—are preparing for a vacation to the Caribbean. An unenthusiastic Alex reluctantly agrees to tag along after a death-threatening situation in which Harper (Jennifer Stone) and Alex were almost hit by a coming subway. Justin saves the two for a chance to be praised at using magic to save Alex once again after Alex does something wrong. Once in the Caribbean, the family meets a boy working at the hotel that Alex instantly develops a crush on. The family then visits a street fair, where they meet a street magician and former wizard (Steve Valentine) (who lost the full-wizard contest to his older brother) named Archie who wants to turn his girlfriend, Giselle, from a parrot back into a human by finding the Stone of Dreams, which has the power to grant any wish or reverse any spell. Jerry considers it crazy since many wizards have gone on the quest and never returned.

The movie begins with the Wildcats trailing the West High Knights, with the Wildcats entering the locker room for the final quarter feeling bitter. Team captain Troy rallies the team's spirit ("Now or Never") and, thanks to new transfer Jimmie "The Rocket" Zara, the Wildcats win the championship game which is the last one for the seniors on the squad at East High. Later, at Troy's after-match party at his house, Troy and Gabriella are seen thinking about their future and wishing that their last few months at East High would not end ("Right Here, Right Now").

Peter, a woodsman and his mother live in the Black Forest where he exists by selling charcoal.
