Synopsis
Pablo Morales (Arturo de Cordova) is a cheerful taxidermist, who lives with his bitter obsessive wife Gloria (Amparo Rivelles), who is extremely religious. Pablo wants to have children, but Gloria does not. Gloria constantly rejects to sleep with his husband, enjoying to offend him by telling that he sticks to dead animals. In a mansion outside a nameless city (apparently Mexico City), lives the wealthy Valverde family: the patriarch Miguel (Oscar Pulido) a business man; Emilia (Blanca de Castejón), his wife, a fun and good-hearted but slightly deranged woman; and their two daughters: the oldest, Susi, short for Susana, (Miroslava Stern) and Lala, a nickname for Laura(Anabelle Gutierrez). Emilia often picks up tramps in hope to reform them into productive men, but they always disappear stealing anything they can in the house.

The film is set in an utopic Mexico City in 2000. Is composed by a series of sarcastic stories where the characters remember what once were the problems facing the country during the 1980s, such as education, family, security, transportation and politics.
