The Violin (Spanish: El violín) is a 2005 Mexican drama film directed by Francisco Vargas. It was screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the 2006 Cannes Film Festival.
Synopsis
Don Plutarco est un fermier et musicien militant qui se bat contre le gouvernement en place dans son pays entre les années 1970 et 2000. Un jour, une attaque de soldats le force lui et son fils à s'exiler dans les collines environnantes. Malheureusement pour eux, les munitions qui servent à la guérilla sont restées dans le village encerclé par les militaires. Contre toute attente et avec un courage inouï, Don Plutarco va ruser auprès des soldats afin de récupérer les munitions, et pour cela va utiliser son violon...Actors

The film begins with a quick flashback into the life of Bharti Rai (Nikhila Trikha), the daughter of chief minister Ramnath Rai (Darshan Jariwala). Rizwan Khan is a Muslim child who grew up with his brother Zakir and his mother Razia Khan in a middle-class family in the section of Mumbai. Rizwan is different from other children, however.
