Wild, Wild Planet (Italian: I Criminali della Galassia / "Criminals of the Galaxy"), also released as "The Wild, Wild Planet" is a 1965 Italian science fiction horror film directed by Antonio Margheriti and written by Renato Moretti and Ivan Reiner. Tony Russel stars as Commander Mike Halstead. Also featured are Lisa Gastoni, Franco Nero and Massimo Serato. The low-budget aesthetics and general cheesy vibe of the picture have made it a favorite of bad-movie fans and websites such as badmovies.org.
The film is the first of four "Gamma One" science fiction films. The films were originally contracted by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer to be made for TV movies but were released theatrically instead in some countries.
Synopsis
Dans une station spatiale réservée aux forces de police, alors que Connie entraîne de jeunes recrues au close-combat, le commandant Mike Halstead reçoit un message urgent. Sur Terre, depuis quelques jours, un certain nombre de personnalités ont mystérieusement disparu. Mike et Connie décident de rentrer sur la planète bleue afin de retrouver l'auteur de ces enlèvements. Leurs investigations les mènent rapidement à l'adresse du professeur Delfos. Celui-ci, employé dans un laboratoire top secret, ne semble pas avoir la conscience tranquille. En effet, la nuit venue, profitant des installations de ses employeurs, il pratique d'étranges expériences sur les personnes qu'il a fait enlever.Actors

The film begins on New Year's Eve in the middle of the 21st century. After space station Alpha-Two reports impossible "negative radiation" readings and loses contact with United Democracies (U.D.) headquarters, Captain Tice and his crew are sent to investigate. They find the Alpha-Two crew immobilized, some dead, before coming under attack themselves by green glowing energy beings. The creatures immobilize Tice's team and the space station disappears entirely. On space station Gamma-One, Commander Halstead sends ships to investigate the remaining space stations and evacuates all but a skeleton crew. Meanwhile on Earth, the creatures have possessed Captain Dubois and use him to break into the Institute for Advanced Sciences's nuclear reactor. The possessed Dubois sends the U.D. a message offering "symbiotic partnership" for "the good of the whole".

The movie opens with Yor jogging around the stone towers of Cappadocia, Turkey while a rock ballad plays in the background. In a nearby village, Kala, a seemingly primitive cave-woman, and her older protector Pag are hunting. Suddenly, they are attacked by a Stego-Ceratops. Yor appears suddenly and kills the dinosaur with his axe, drinking some of its blood immediately afterwards. Yor is befriended by the village and together they cut the choice meats to be feasted upon in celebration.

Dr. Fred Steele (Umberto Orsini) and Eve Barnett (Maya Brent) work together at an astronomical station on a bucolic island. Baron von Frankenstein neglects his duties towards his wife/sister Katrin, as he is obsessed with creating a perfect Serbian race to obey his commands, beginning by assembling a perfect male and female from parts of corpses.
