Synopsis
Le marin américain Alex Walker (Kevin Anderson) est bloqué au Mexique, sans le sou et recherché par la police. Il rencontre et rejoint un couple improbable: Phillip Mills (John Lithgow), une vieille femme séduisante mais vieillissante, et la jeune femme sexy et frustée Missy (Rosanna Arquette). Les trois développent une relation curieusement interdépendante. Pendant ce temps, le capitaine de police Diaz et le détective Ortega se rapprochent et l'intrigue est bouclée à la gare de Tapachula au milieu d'un fatras d'erreurs et de mauvaises décisions.Actors

Jesse Lujack (Richard Gere) is a cocky, nihilistic drifter in Las Vegas, obsessed with Marvel Silver Surfer comic books, the rock and roll music of Jerry Lee Lewis and Monica Poiccard (Valérie Kaprisky), a UCLA architecture undergraduate whom he knows only from a weekend fling in Vegas. As the film opens late at night, he steals a Porsche, intending to drive to Los Angeles. As he speeds down the highway and looks through the owner's possessions, he discovers a handgun in the vehicle's glovebox. Seeing his reckless driving, a policeman gives chase and Jesse is forced off the road and becomes stuck. When the policeman orders him to step away from the car, Lujack impulsively grabs the gun and (apparently accidentally) shoots the officer. Fleeing to Los Angeles, Lujack finds his picture splashed all over the newspaper and TV news as the "cop killer.

It tells the story of Sean Pius McAnally "Gingy" (Anthony Brophy) and the journey he makes on his way to becoming a supergrass. Gingy is reluctantly pulled out of retirement in a caravan in the Republic of Ireland by two IRA men who bring him back to Belfast to perform one last job due to his skill with an RPG. On their way back they are stopped by a British Army patrol led by Lt David Ferris who introduces himself to Gingy. Gingy initially refuses the job but realises he has no choice after the Chief of the Belfast Brigade briefs him and threatens him. The job entails the killing of a judge using an RPG, during the getaway the gang smash through a roadblock and one of the soldiers from the previous patrol recognises Gingy from the previous checkpoint.
