Thralls (also known as Blood Angels in Canada; Ángeles sanguinarios in Argentina, and Les esclaves d'un vampire in France) is a 2004 comedy horror film.

The film stars Lorenzo Lamas, Leah Cairns, Siri Baruc, Crystal Lowe, Lisa Marie Caruk, Sonya Salomaa, and Moneca Delain. It is directed by Ron Oliver, written by Lisa Morton and Brett Thompson, and has an MPAA rating of R.

Synopsis

The plot focuses on six women known as thralls, half-vampires who lack the ability to fly or turn their victims. The thralls are joined by Ashley (Baruc), the sister of one of the thralls, and together they attempt to escape from the control of Mr. Jones (Lamas), a centuries-old vampire with a henchman named Rennie. Leslie opens a dance club in Iowa, while waiting the arrival of her sister Ashley, who grew up in an abusive household. Her father dies of a heart attack, causing Ashley to live with her sister.

Off the coast of Alaska, oceanographer Emma MacNeil (Deborah Gibson) is studying the migration patterns of whales aboard an experimental submarine she took without permission from her employer. Meanwhile, a military helicopter drops experimental sonar transmitters into the water, causing a pod of whales to go out of control and start ramming a nearby glacier. In the chaos, the helicopter crashes into the glacier, and the combined damage breaks the glacier open, thawing two hibernating, prehistoric creatures. MacNeil narrowly avoids destruction as, unknown to her, a giant shark and octopus are freed. Some time later, a drilling platform off the coast of Japan is attacked by the octopus, which has tentacles large enough to wrap around the entire structure. After returning to Point Dume, California, MacNeil investigates the corpse of a beached whale covered with many bloody wounds. Her employer Dick Richie (Mark Hengst) believes them to be from a tanker propeller, but MacNeil insists they appear to be from a creature. Later, she extracts what appears to be a shark’s tooth from one of the wounds. Elsewhere, the huge shark leaps tens of thousands of feet into the air from the ocean and attacks a commercial aircraft, forcing it to crash into the water.

Alors que la nuit est tombée, on voit Bugs Bunny creuser une longue galerie afin de rejoindre Pittsburgh. Devant l'entrée, il demande son chemin à un vautour femelle à deux têtes, qui le trouve « à croquer ». Bugs se fait inviter à l'intérieur. Sans prendre garde aux fantômes et au mobilier effrayant, il recherche un téléphone. Il prend le comte pour un maître d'hôtel. Ce dernier joue le jeu et le guide à travers les étages, où les couloirs et les portes sont en forme de cercueil. Dans les pièces, on voit un piano à mâchoires garnies de dents, une télévision, des portraits de fantômes et de chauve-souris. Il lui présente sa chambre à coucher, lui enjoint de dormir jusqu'au lendemain, dans le but caché de lui aspirer son sang durant la nuit.

Reporter Sadie Blake has just published a notable article featuring a secret Gothic party scene. The very night following the publication, one of Sadie's sources, Tricia Rawlins, is invited by her friend Kaitlyn to an isolated house in which such a party is to take place. Tricia is reluctant to enter with the curfew set by her strict father, so Kaitlyn goes alone. When she does not return, Tricia becomes worried and enters the house as well. To her horror, she finds Kaitlyn in the basement with two vampires hanging onto her and drinking her blood. She tries to hide, but the vampires find her quickly. The next day, Sadie learns of the girl's death and decides to investigate the matter. She soon attracts the interest of the vampire cult, who kidnap her and bring her in for questioning. A year later in 1906, following the events of the previous film, Dracula has been destroyed.
