Minty accidentally breaks the "Here Comes Christmas Candy Cane", which apparently guides Santa Claus to Ponyville. To try to make up for doing this, Minty gives each pony one of her socks (she hangs them like stockings on the other ponies' fireplaces). When Pinkie Pie finds out what Minty has done, Minty states that the sock giving is a bad idea, and then decides she should go to the North Pole herself to set things right. Minty is terrible at balloon flying, so the chase is on to save her in the process of saving Christmas.

Jim Evers is a workaholic real estate agent whose continuous pursuit for new deals leaves very little time with his family. He misses his wedding anniversary with his wife Sara, but to make amends, suggesting going on vacation to a nearby lake. Beforehand, Sara is contacted by the occupants of Gracey Manor, located in the Louisiana bayou. Eager to make a deal, Jim drags Sara and his children Megan and Michael to the mansion. They meet its owner Edward Gracey, his stern butler Ramsley, and other staff members Emma and Ezra. When a storm floods the nearby river, Gracey allows the Evers to stay the night, though everyone save Jim is unhappy with the idea. Ramsley takes Jim down to the library to have a talk with Gracey, but while he waits, Jim gets trapped in a secret passage.

Après avoir dégusté une noix, notre héros grandit puis rapetisse jusqu'à ressembler à une véritable souris. Le téléphone, posé sur une table, reçoit un appel et lance sa ligne à Mickey. Celui-ci s'en aide pour rejoindre le combiné téléphonique et au terme d'un dialogue de sourd, l'appareil se sert de son fil comme d'une corde à sauter — prétexte à un numéro de claquettes puisqu'une radio s'est allumée toute seule et diffuse de la musique. Le danseur est envoyé dans un cendrier, dont un élément amovible devient un haut-de-forme tandis qu'une allumette fait office de canne. Nouveau numéro jusqu'à la découverte de cartes à jouer qui exécutent à leur tour une marche militaire suivie d'une chorégraphie plutôt élaborée.

Sailing to Port Royal, Governor Weatherby Swann, his daughter Elizabeth, and Lieutenant James Norrington encounter a burning shipwreck and recover a young boy Will Turner. Sinbad and his pirate crew attempt to steal the magical "Book of Peace" while it travels to Syracuse, Sicily, protected by Proteus. Proteus was once Sinbad's best friend as a child and he tells him if it ever meant anything he can prove it. Sinbad tries to steal the book anyway, but is prevented when Cetus attacks the ship.
