Add to a movie listTwenty:20 is a 2008 Malayalam Indian action thriller film written by Udayakrishna and Siby K. Thomas and directed by Joshiy. The film was produced and distributed by actor Dileep through Graand Production and Manjunatha Release. The film was produced on behalf of the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) as a fundraiser to financially support actors who are struggling in the Malayalam film industry. All the actors in AMMA worked without payment in order to raise funds for their welfare schemes. The film features an ensemble cast, which includes almost all artists in AMMA. The music was composed by Berny-Ignatius and Suresh Peters.
The first two-week distributors share of the film stood at ₹5.72 crore (US$860 000). The film managed to secure third position (with 7 prints, 4 in Chennai) in Tamil Nadu's box office in its opening week. The total number of opening prints releasing inside Kerala was 117; outside Kerala, approximately 25 prints were released on 21 November 2008, including 4 prints in the USA and 11 prints in the UAE. The film collected ₹32.6 crore (US$4 9 million) in its total run. It was the highest grossing film in Malayalam cinema until 2014.
Synopsis
Retired Supreme Court Chief Justice Viswanathan Menon (Madhu) and his wife (Kaviyoor Ponnamma) come home to celebrate Vishu with his children (Siddique, Vijayaraghavan and Sindhu Menon) and grandchildren, and hopes to spend the remainder of his life in tranquility. The big joint family arrives and prepares to celebrate through the weekend, but plans go awry when Menon's grandson Arun Kumar (Indrajith Sukumaran), a medical student in Bangalore, is accused of murdering a fellow student.Actors

A hangman is brought to central jail to hang Hyder Marakkar (Tiger Prabhakar), a notorious criminal with terror links, but he is killed in a road accident. Palamattathu Varghese Mappila (Saikumar) is a wealthy Nasrani and retired captain from the Indian Army. He has four children, Christy (Mohanlal), Joji (Dileep), Jessy (Lakshmi Gopalaswamy) and Stella (Kanika). Christy is a high profile police informer who is working in Mumbai and getting high amounts as remuneration. His brother Joji goes to Italy to study theology, but later opts out of it after he falls in love with Meenakshi (Kavya Madhavan), daughter of the state home minister (Devan). His family has no clear idea about the nature of Christy's activities before Christy's brother-in-law tells a lie about him as Christy finds about brother-in-law's relationship between rowdies and cases which he was arrested for sex-racketing . All these come as a shock to Varghese Mappila. Varghese Mappila kicks Christy out of their house believing the brother-in-law. Joji is having a relationship with Meenakshi. Her parents come to know about that. And while returning home she is being kidnapped. For regaining the daughter her father calls Christy. Christy finds that his brother-in-law was the person who kidnapped Meenakshi. He fights with his brother-in-law and safely brings Meenakshi back to her home. The next day, police finds that Christy's brother-in-law was killed. Police arrests Christy for the crime. Christy's friend (Sarath Kumar) brings him out of the jail. Meanwhile, a police officer (Suresh Gopi) marries Stella. Christy helps Joji to marry Meenakshi by bringing her out of her house. Both Christy and the police officer finds out the killer of their brother-in-law was Joji. Knowing that the killer was Joji, Christy tells the police officer to arrest him instead of his beloved brother Joji.Meawhile, the villains attack mappila.To take revenge of his fathers death, christy along with gopi and sarath kumar kill the villains.

The film begins when Gopika (Kavya Madhavan) and her father(Oduvil Unnikrishnan) came to stay in a house where Bharathiyamma(Kaviyoor Ponnamma) stays with her two children Balu Damodar (Indrajith) and Ambili(Suja Karthika). Bharathiyamma has one more son Unni Damodar(Dileep) who is working in Dubai. Unni tells his family that he is working in Gulf but in reality he runs illegal spirit business with Bhai (Murali) along with Achayan and Achuvettan in Walayar. He accepts a four-year jail punishment actually the accused was Bhai. Unni, however confesses what he does, to Gopika whom his mother is insistent that he should marry. After leaving the jail Paramasivam(Unni) realizes that Bhai has been fall into a big debt because of the cheating of Chinnadan (Kalasala Babu) and his Sons. He then again goes to valayar and thus saves Bhai and his family from debt with his wicked mind and tricks. He again rules spirit deals in Valayar area pulling the Chinnadans into trouble. Things change when Unni's brother (Indrajith) becomes a police officer. He got posting in Valayar area, where Unni and Bhai have become big-time rowdys. In Valayar, Balu tries his level best to catch Valayar Paramasivam (Dileep) but does not know that it is his brother; and fails in mind game played by Dileep. This makes Bhai angry with Balu. But Paramasivam tells him to forgive Balu because he was his brother. In the meantime, Chinadan kills Bhai's only son Johny and blames Balu as the real killer. This made Bhai very desperate and wants to kill Balu. Bhai kidnaps him. On knowing this, Paramasivam goes to save his brother Balu and informs Bhai that the actual killer was CI (Shammi Thilakan) by identifying the ring marks in Johny's face. Paramasivam then confesses him that he will not lie to his bhai.

A new batch of trainees arrives at the army training center (SAT) situated near border in Kashmir. Their trainer is Major Nair Saab (Mammootty) who is a man known for his hard-and-fast training strategies. The movie is treated with humour arising from the intense training of the guys. But, things take a U-turn once when the underworld led by Kumar (Devan)buys out two guys from the batch and use them for importing drugs from the neighboring country which is obviously Pakistan (though never mentioned in the movie).

The film is about a spoiled brat Kuttapayi (Mammootty) and his young friends. Kuttapayi is the son of Rappayi (Thilakan), a rich miser. Kuttapayi make all sorts of trouble in his village. One related to a snake boat/dragon boat race made him and his friends to exile to neighboring state. Kuttapayi has a illegimate daughter which is unknown to him, she is taken care by his father through a servant. The servant (Balan K Nair) takes money and land and promises to Rappayi to care of Kuttapayi's daughter. The servant uses the money and land for his own growth and pushes Kuttapayi's illegitimate wife to prostitution. When matters get hairy the servant tries to sell Kuttapayi's daughter too to prostitution. Kuttapayi comes to know about the situation and saves her and loses her mother in the fiery process.

Chandran (Mammootty) is a truck driver and Ravi ( Mukesh), the cleaner of the truck. Chandran is very affectionate towards Ravi, for whom, Chandran is like an elder brother. Chandran spends most of his leisure time in booze and women, while Ravi is busy in saving all the money, as he has got a family. One day, Ravi gets a letter from Remani (Jalaja), his wife saying that there is festival in the village temple set to happen for the coming Friday and she requested him to be there .Excited Ravi sets out to his home with all the cash he has saved as he has plans to build a house and to be there for at least two months. But on his way back home, he was killed in an accident. Chandran arrives at the village of Ravi, with his dead body. But during his stay, he gets involved in several social issues. He slowly joins the job of ferrying sand under Kochu Varkey, a rich businessman of the area. But, with time, he enrages Kochu Varkey (Prathapachandran) and his son Sunnykkutty (Vijayaraghavan), invites animosity from them. Rajamma ( Seema), a bold and independent lady who makes a living by running a tea stall falls in love with Chandran, but certain unexpected incidents happen in the life of Chandran that turns everything upside down.
